Clifton House, a Victorian gem in a Cathedral City

Lia's house is lovely - beautifully decorated, and comfortable, tho a good 15/20 minute walk from the centre, and the train station. We would definitely stay there again, when going to the Hay Festival.

Luxury Tree House, Enchanted Woods, Yurt & Hot Tub

BhixaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at this stunning accommodation. The place was well kept and very spacious, ideal for a group of 6. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub whilst looking at the beautiful views of the Malvern Hills. Daniel and Pamela were super friendly and very responsive to our questions. Pamela recommended a lady in the village who cooks fresh, authentic Indian dishes, this was an added bonus for us.... her food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend this accommodation if you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful break away!

Cosy | City Home | 2BR | Free Parking | Sleeps 4

KathrynRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean period terrace which we booked to stay in for our trip to Hay Festival. Good location c20 minutes from the Rail Station and efficient, responsive friendly hosts. Would definitely stay again. Very steep narrow staircase (as is common for houses of this type and vintage) which was not a problem for us but might be for the less fully able, not least as the bathroom is downstairs. Mixer shower over the bath surprisingly powerful. Overall very happy with this AirBnB.

Sweet Edwardian cottage in central Ludlow.

HarneetRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay at Henrietta's place in Ludlow. It's right in the town in a peaceful residential location - 3 mins walk to the town centre, 8 mins walk from the station. The place is exactly as shown and feels like you're at home. It's also equipped with amenities including board games (definitely a plus). Henrietta was amazing as a host - she was highly responsive to my queries and also helped with smooth check-in/out. Would definitely recommend this place for both friends and family.

We had an amazing stay at Louise's place. it was so peaceful in lovely surroundings. We just wanted to relax for a few days without doing a great deal and it was an ideal place to do exactly that. The guide to the local area and amenities was especially helpful. slightly disappointed with the... weather! but only to be expected in the UK! still managed a dip in the pool which was superb!, tried a game of tennis and enjoyed the hottub. it really was a lovely stay, waking up to the ponies and wildlife was amazing too! would highly recommend Louise as a host

Billy Goat Cabin and Swimming Pool

ElizabethRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
It’s hard to sum up just how magical the setting is. Sitting in front of a roaring fire, looking at the view as the kids run up and down the woods, collecting sticks and playing dens. The accommodation was warm and comfortable so that everything felt super easy but still has that outdoor all day camping feel. Then the added luxury of one of the cleanest swimming pools I’ve ever used. With lovely hot showers and changing rooms. Sally could not have gone to more lengths to encourage us to make ourselves at home and enjoy it all. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you

Rural idyll, with tennis court and swimming pool

RichRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This place was just what we (3 couples, all with kids) needed for a long weekend! Having done a similar trip the previous two years we wanted to try somewhere different this time, and we're not disappointed. The house was huge with a large garden to play in, and the swimming pool was fenced off meaning we felt safe letting the kids run around. The tennis court was a big hit too. The house itself was a charming labyrinth of living and sleeping spaces so everyone always had the space that they needed, and the beds were clean and the bathrooms spotless. We struggled a little with finding things to do in the area which weren't an hour's drive away, but saying that we happily spent the whole of Saturday in and around the house before venturing to Ralph Court Gardens the following day

Elegant Home with Pool & Sauna near Golf Course

TristanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Spacious and comfortable house for our family of 6 during a rainy February half term. The main reason to rent this place was the pool and sauna which didn’t disappoint and was great for our kids. There is a builder’s merchant right next door to the house which isn’t obvious from the photos but was not a particular problem with respect to noise etc. Lots of great walks nearby - which we will have to rediscover in the future in better weather! Thanks to Phoebe and the owners for making us feel welcome and for being available and responsive to our questions.
An indoor heated pool captures attention with its clear blue water. Surrounding areas feature wooden accents, including double doors leading outside. Two reclining chairs are positioned by the pool, and a table is visible, suitable for relaxation or leisure activities.

Calm Acre Cabin: True Off-Grid Living & Dog Heaven

AnnieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Chloe and the cabin (a great indie band name if you ever need one!) Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for creating such a magical, serene and all round perfect space here at Calm Acre Cabin. We ended up arriving a little after sunset, to be greeted by the fairy lights showing us the way to the cabin - a truly whimsical experience. From stepping foot into the acre there was nothing more we could have asked for. Every detail was well thought out and as the name suggests, there is no calmer place than at the cabin! Our stay here has been bittersweet, but one filled with beautiful memories. Our dog, Mia - Welsh Sheepdog, will be crossing the rainbow bridge shortly after we return home and we wanted to have one last adventure with her and let her do all the things she loves. Napping in the sunshine, sampling all the herbs from the flower pots, chasing bees, cosying next to the fire in the evening (and of course letting the sheep know if they have gotten too close!). We felt relaxed almost immediately and loved every minute spend there. Amber was lovely herself and has friendly manner. We weren’t disturbed at all and yet she wasn’t too far away if we needed anything. Simply tranquil! We’re already looking forward to our next stay.

We had a wonderful stay, we only wish we'd booked for longer. The cottage was beautiful, exceptionally clean, spacious and had everything that we needed and the Aga was wonderful. It was quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Victoria provided us with all the information we needed for the cottage and the local area and was available if we needed to make contact. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful break to celebrate our 20 Year wedding anniversary.

The apartment was clean, warm and comfy with all you need for a relaxing break. We felt at home straight away and the peaceful location and comfy bed meant that we had a great nights sleep. The view from the terrace was amazing with lovely evening sun and beautiful sunsets. Justine contacted us before arriving and during our stay, was really friendly and very understanding of our barking dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return in the future. Thank you Justine and hubby.

Cottage in the Forest of Dean, Hot Tub on request

SallianneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Dave gave us a very friendly welcome on arrival and showed us around the property. Tracey had prepared a homemade cake for our stay along with a small basket of provisions to get us started. The cottage has a private, fenced garden (very useful to keep dogs safe) and is surrounded by extensive gardens that you can wander around too. The kitchen was supplied with everything needed and with both bedrooms being en-suite, neither couple felt they had an inferior room and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. A real home-from-home experience. The option to have use of the hot tub for an additional fee was the icing on the cake. Being on the edge of the Forest of Dean and close to Gloucester and Ross on Wye, there were plenty of options for excursions. We loved our weekend and would definitely cover again.

Haybridge Cottage, dog friendly annex in Shropshire

One of the best holiday properties we have stayed in. Spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. Lots of little extras such as treats for us and our dog. The views from the very private and dog secure garden are lovely. Carole and Pauls ducks are hilarious and their eggs delicious, the visitor book is full of people who come time and time again and we can see why. We thoroughly recommend it and would not hesitate to return.

Old Dairy 1 - Dog friendly, luxury cottage for two

GeoffRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The bungalow is clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed for a short Easter break. The living area was equipped with all the basics, as well as with free Wi-fi and Netflix, although no other channels were available. The tv was small (32"), especially when seated on the sofa or armchair. During our three night stay, the local Forest School and Oakraven Centre had children attending courses, so there was something of a mini 'Rush hour' in the morning and evening. It was not a problem but required wariness for walkers and opposing traffic in a single track road. The woodland walks locally are good and plentiful, Lorraine providing good guidelines to other attractions and trails. A beautiful area.
