nice, homely and spacious. quiet neighbours and on a quiet road. there wasn't always parking on the street but right opposite is an unadopted road which I preferred to park on rather than struggle to get in a small space. big TV in a comfortable living room. the bedroom I slept in was comfortable and you can see the church (lit at night)which dates back to 1190 from the back bedroom window , the bells which ring from time to time you will either find charming or annoying. I got a late checkout was was appreciated. heron foods is only a 7 mins walk away with 4 pubs within a 10 mins walk. there's a hungry horse pub 2 mins drive/ 15 mins walk away which has good offers and the food is nice. I would recommend this place to stay 😊

Lovely, clean, and spacious apartment! The apartment was spotless and had plenty of room to relax. The secure walled garden was perfect for my pooch — such peace of mind! We were greeted on arrival by great hosts who made us feel very welcome. I had a great night’s sleep, and the location was ideal for visiting my family for birthday celebrations, just 20 minutes up the road. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again! This is a lovely cottage, which used to be the village Post Office and shop, set in a very tranquil rural setting but very easy to access for Hull and many places of interest on the East Coast - Hornsea 20 minute drive, Spurn Point 45 minutes. Sue was a very good host who was extremely helpful and responsive. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole cottage was very comfortable. There is access to a garden space with seating. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage if you are visiting Hull or the East Coast; we will definitely return.
