This guest suite consists of one bedroom (King bed) and a full bath. The private entrance is located on the front porch and the space is closed off from rest of the home. Space does not include a living room or kitchen. but there is a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker, comfortable sitting space, and a large porch to relax. There is also an air purifier in the room- with HEPA filtration, removing 99.9 of all particles in the air. The space is the size of an average hotel room.

We fell in love with the South Harbor Island neighborhood!! Roy’s house was in the best location and really felt like a second home! The bed was super comfortable and we loved wine on the front porch. The oak-lined street made for perfect pre-dinner photos. We took the provided bikes and beach chairs to the beach twice - about a 5 minute ride and super easy. Our dog loved the neighborhood and fenced backyard. Per the host’s recommendation, we grabbed dinner in DT Wilmington at one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. We rented for a long weekend - I think since we didn’t rent longer (like a week), the price per night was a little expensive for only 2 people but the house could definitely fit 4 more.

We really enjoyed our stay with Anne. Her house is lovely - we particularly enjoyed lounging on their patio and soaking in the beauty of their back yard. We do agree with a couple of reviewers that the bed isn’t the best, and being a full it was a bit cozy for us, but we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again especially for a short trip. The coffee and croissants were also appreciated!

We had an exceptional stay at Southend Serenity in Wrightsville Beach. Tim and Heidi, thank you for providing such a beautifully appointed, peaceful, and spotless apartment. The space was perfect for two, offering all the comforts we needed and convenient beach access just steps away. It was a treat to sit on the beach and watch the surfers, windsurfing and kiteboarding. Your restaurant recommendations for Ceviche’s and King Neptunes proved to be excellent. We’re discussing a return visit this fall!

A perfect place to stay in Wilmington! very clean space, privately located at the back of the house. Recommend the use of a sound machine since the family lives here too. The streaming services are very wonderful! We will be staying here again on our next visit to Wilmington.

Great vibes, a very comfortable bed and a perfect location.

This place is in the heart of everything food, the ocean, the beach, stores you name it! The home was spotless, quiet, and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable with plenty of soft pillows. When we arrived, we were greeted with a thoughtful handwritten card and a bottle of wine congratulating us on our anniversary, such a special touch! David was an amazing host, staying in communication throughout our stay to make sure we were having the best time celebrating our 13th anniversary. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others!
