Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hamble-le-Rice

Absolutely stunning location with views that could have been in the middle of Cornwall or France! We stayed here to be close to Old Sarum airfield for my husband’s skydive and it was only a 10 min drive. Fiona was really friendly and left us fresh eggs, homemade bread, jam, milk and orange juice which was wonderful touch. The hut had fantastic views from bed, with everything we needed. The swim spa / huge hot tub was perfect for sunset chilling. We would definitely return.

A beautiful place to stay, spotlessly clean, nice touches included. Chris was the perfect host, available if needed, but left us to our own devices. the hot tub and sauna was lovely. If and when we visit the new forest again we would not hesitate to stay here again and will be recommending to family and friends if they plan to visit the new forest. thanks Chris we had a truly lovely stay ❤️

Amy was a great host. The cottage was so lovely and had everything we needed for our short stay. Amy was also really kind and allowed us to stay longer than we’d expected due to a huge challenge we’d taken on that weekend. I would highly recommend Amy’s place. Perfect.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay inside Betty. It was extremely accurately described. We felt at home straight away by the facilities onboard. The view in the morning was fantastic, being woken up by cockerel was a lovely reminder of being in the countryside. The perfect break to wind down and relax. We were lucky with the weather mostly which made it even more magical. The lights around the outside at night was a lovely touch. The bathroom was delightful, with the underfloor heating working at all times. I’m sure we will back to see Betty. Would recommend to everyone.

So nice to unwind, listen to the birds and decompress. Exactly what was needed with our hectic lives and schedules. Loved the quiet location and that our dogs could walk around the golf course and woods. Only recommendation we would make is a little freshen up and updating in some areas, like sealant around the bath (which was great by the way after a long day!) Having milk when we arrived was well appreciated, if there was a complimentary starter pack of some small jams/butter and scones - I'd give you 5* here! But a great stay nonetheless. Really comfortable.

We had a lovely time staying at the cottage. The cottage was a great base for our exploring round the Isle of Wight. I can imagine the decking area is lovely in the summertime. Lots of space out the back for our dog to run around outside. The rooms were good size and clean and the kitchen well stocked with utensils and cooking items. Gail was very helpful and responsive and we are very grateful!

We loved Mike's place. Our cottage had a peaceful and tucked-away English garden, which was beautiful, quiet, and serene. Our dog loved running in the fenced-in garden, and my children spent a lot of time on the little playground. The footpaths surrounding the cottage were absolutely beautiful and gave us some fantastic walks with the dog. The kitchen contained all the amenities you would need, from cooking oil to salt and coffee. The bedrooms were nice, clean, and spacious. Mike was a fantastic host, always available and quick to respond to any questions we had. The check-in process was smooth, and he provided clear instructions. The cottage was well-maintained, and it was evident that Mike put a lot of thought into making sure guests had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome basket with local treats and the detailed guidebook with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable,

What a wonderful place Sandy has, a proper home from home in quiet area. Very spacious and clean, with everything you could possibly need. Sandy was a responsive and friendly host.

We loved our weekend at Beach Dreams, the home was so cosy and nicely furnished. Clever use of space and we were shocked to find a bath in the en suite. A stones throw from the lovely heated pool and a very short walk to the beach. Everything in the kitchen you could ever need and plenty of games to enjoy if you need or want to stay inside and just chill.

Great location for a family break. Entertainment passes included. Kids will love the robots delivering food in the restaurant. Didnt try out the pool this time but looked great. Loved how close we were to the beach beautiful day and night, with stunning sunsets. Also enjoyed a walk around the nature reserve. Great base for getting out on our bikes. We absolutely love the new forest and this was a great base for a short stay. We'd happily stay for longer.

We spent a fabulous Easter weekend at Driftwood Cottage. Catharine was an excellent host and was extremely easy to deal with. The house is spacious, modern, and very well equipped. The use of the kayaks was a bonus we hadn’t really considered beforehand but turned out to be a real highlight. The location is amazing. Right next to the ferry terminal but you wouldn’t know it when you’re at the house. The views up the creek at stunning. Highly recommended.

Really convenient location, we walked to the beach and swam in the sea several times and ate out locally. Lidl and a little Tesco very nearby for buying groceries. If you want seaside 2p machines, avoid the amusements next to the Beachlands car park and go to the ones inside Funland. The pools at the park were great; indoor heated was a little deep for smaller kids to stand in, but they particularly enjoyed the heated outdoor one and there was also an unheated paddling pool and lots of seating. Caravan was great although the door was a little sticky and the oven dial indicators required a bit of guesswork - kitchen much better equipped than many we have stayed in. It is in a great location on the park as it’s right near the entrance and main hub. The kids appreciated the PlayStation after time outside and Jonathan was really quick to respond to all queries. We’d happily stay again if returning to the area.
