A bit tricky to locate, might benefit from clearer signage that can be seen as you're driving along the road. Accommodation was spacious, and use of the paddock for the dogs was great! Easy drive into Chester, only around 15 mins, so a good location. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Cheshire Farmhouse, sleeps 12

HarrietRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Sophie’s beautiful farmhouse. The house has so much character and interior inspiration can be found in every room. Really comfy beds and we were blessed with sunshine, which meant we could take full advantage of the stunning garden. Sinks in so many of the bedrooms was very helpful with a large group - highly recommend this lovely house.

The Farmhouse at Gradbach Mill

AdamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here for a 40th birthday party with a number of other families including young children, and had a whale of a time. The photos for the listing don’t do it justice - it’s beautiful inside and out and very private. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay - it’s absolutely huge. Adults and kids spent the whole weekend in it. There are lovely walks from just outside the property - lud’s church was beautiful. We organised a supermarket delivery to the property for just after check in which went without a hitch. We’ll definitely be back for more family gatherings and events - we can’t recommend it enough!

Great spot, perfect for exploring Buxton and the surrounding area. Lovely house and although the bedrooms are a tad small we only needed them to sleep in and that was more than made up for in the excellent kitchen, garden and living areas. Perfect for a girlie getaway! Grace was a great host, very responsive to messages. Some basic kitchen bits and bobs (including mini milk bottle!) were a nice touch. Would stay again

We felt very much at home here. Absolutely beautiful and well renovated home nestled in the gorgeous Yorkshire landscape. One of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed at, we would have loved to stay longer if we’d had more available time. Thanks for making us feel so at ease xx

Thank you Jane, Welcomed upon arrival. We’d had a long journey & Jane came over briefly and explained everything to us concisely & wished us a lovely stay! Superb location that included beautiful strolls along the fields! Great for walking & getting lost in the beautiful scenery. Jane’s place was spotless! Bedding & towels were lovely. Could not find one downside anywhere. The waterfall Three Shires is a five minute drive (cafe along the roadside). We parked up & took a lovely hour stroll to find it! Our first trip to a waterfall & not the last. Very attractive place & great location. The village of Leek was around a 10 minute drive & has everything in it that you need! Thank you Jane.

Terrys house easily accommodated our party of 8 adults 2 young children and a dog will book again. There is every conceivable item to make your stay as comfortable as possible all you need is food and yourselves. We all loved the house there’s private and quiet areas too. The lounge has a table that accommodated 10 of us easily for dinner but also space to just sit and chat or watch TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed as well as being a great communal area to eat or just chat. When we had an issue Terry arrived in person to help and offer advice. There is only parking for one car outside the house because of its location so to avoid causing problems for the neighbours we parked our 4 cars just a short distance away in the village so plenty of alternatives. Terry communicated immediately when available both before and during our stay, we used her wealth of local knowledge she gave us a great recommendation to eat at ‘The Old Hall’ just a 10 minute walk away.

Open-plan light spacious Georgian family townhouse

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Staying at Nicholas's place made my wedding weekend an absolute dream. The house itself is absolutely huge and was spotless. Highly surpassed our expectations. The rooms were bright, clean and very comfortable, and the downstairs music room was the PERFECT space to not only get into my gigantic wedding gown, but also get in and out of the car in privacy through the courtyard door. The kitchen was the perfect spot to eat breakfast and get ready (brides take note!), and was super bright for making social media content and official photos. The decor of the house is beautiful and a great inspiration on places we can plan to travel to! Thank you so much for the perfect stay Nicholas, greatly enjoyed and appreciated.

Fernyford Barn in the Peak District

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fernyford Barn is the perfect base for a holiday in the Peak District. There are so many things to do and places to visit just a short drive away. The barn is very comfortable, nicely decorated and perfect for families. We loved stocking up on food from the local shops and meat from the farm itself and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Neil and his family were friendly and welcoming hosts and our little ones loved meeting the sheep and exploring the farm. We’d love to return.
