Such a beautiful home, you can definitely see how a real family in NZ upbringing close to nature, plenty of memories. Such a warm and sweet family. The fireplace and stag head definitely adds a lot of character to home. The rain shower felt amazing, and the bath tub with view definitely melts away your sore body and feet after a long hike. The view of the mountain really breathtaking. The kitchen is very well equipped and the fridge is big enough for a family. We stay for 3 nights and really enjoyed that we took a day off just to stay home and just chilling. At night with clear sky you get to see the Milky Way, shooting stars and even aurora! Definitely one of our unforgettable highlight in NZ trip!

We're a husband and wife who were looking for a comfortable stay while we roamed around Tekapo and Mt Cook for a few days. This was a great choice, everything easy and simple, enough room for two. Great heating especially in the bathroom including heated floors and towel rack. Wifi not great for two people using it, but it wasn't problematic for us as we had 5G as well. Matt has a beautiful house that looked like a gingerbread house, especially with the recent snow. It's in a quiet street where you can park your car safely. The place is within walking distance to Tekapo shops and Lake Tekapo. Thanks for having us!

An excellent location for a trip to Tekapo! We stayed here during a weekend down in the South Island and if was a great base for exploring the local area. The apartment is very clean, very spacious, very warm and very well located. A short walk from the Tekapo waterfront with lots to do and see on your doorstep! An excellent find and an excellent host!
