Located on Spring Creek, one of Tennessee's designated State Scenic Rivers, this property offers over 2,000 ft of river frontage, including 2 waterfalls. You'll have the entire custom-built suite to yourself with amazing views out every window. Listen to the springs pouring down the cliffside, birds chirping, and star gazing- all from your private porch. The entry is keyless for easy self-check in. We live on top of the hill and are available if you need anything.
The space
The Suite is a custom built 'tiny home' above our event pavilion. Any scheduled events will be disclosed so you can decide if that works for you.
Similar to a state park, we are open to the public 10am-Dusk for creek use. The waterfalls are too pretty not to share!
You'll be able to use self-check in starting with your designated parking space next to the suite stairs. There is a keypad lock, the code will be provided with check in instructions. The suite has one bedroom with a king size bed, organic mattress and premium sheets. The living room sofa converts to a twin-size bed for an extra guest. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and stove. Cooking supplies are provided along with assorted spices. There is a Keurig coffee station with pods, sugar and creamer.
We have other listings including Glamping, primitive camping and RV/ Van camping. You may see other guests/ vehicles as they have use of the pavilion and downstairs restrooms. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am.

Just a short walk in either direction of the suite are waterfalls! We provide camp chairs so you can find your own special spot along the creek and enjoy nature. Or sit on the porch and watch the birds and listen to the sounds of the creek.
You are welcome to use the pavilion (if there are no events). There is a propane grill (propane provided) and a fire pit (bring your own wood).
Although we are in the country and farmland, there is potential of noise from the surrounding farmers as they go about their work. A couple hollers from us is a gun range (don't worry they aren't firing towards us!) and you may occasionally hear large trucks from the main road.
We are conveniently located 20 minutes north of downtown Cookeville. Cookeville is predominately a small college town with plenty of shopping and dining. The 'old' downtown has local boutiques, independent restaurants, homemade ice cream, brewery, antiquing and more.
Pets: Our listings allow pets. Please add them to your guest count! There is an additional pet cleaning fee.
We ask they are kept on leash or fully under voice command. Please clean up after your pet and do not leave them unattended. We have free range goats, dogs, and cats and on the property, and our neighbors have dogs. We want all the animals to stay safe :)
Guest access
You have access to over 2000 feet of river (or more if you hike up or downstream!). There are picnic areas, an event pavilion downstairs and your own private patio outside the entrance of the suite. You have a designated parking spot by the suite entrance.
Other things to note
Please know that we are in the country. With beautiful scenery, quiet nights and surrounded by farmland this truly is the best nature has to offer! Along with that, the great outdoors also provides wildlife of all kinds including-butterflies, birds, frogs, stink bugs, mosquitoes, wasps, bees, gnats, ticks, snakes, ect. Pay attention when walking thru the woods and mostly if you leave them alone, they will leave you alone. We do remediation inside and around the pavilion for the bugs and insects, however, we cannot fully control the population and occasionally they get inside.
There is also a pair of great blue herons and geese that live on the creek, and you may get lucky and see a bald eagle or osprey flying overhead!
Because we are in the country cell signal may be spotty. There is high speed fiber optic WiFi, however, depending on the weather it may glitch from time to time. We advise unplugging and enjoying nature!
Please also note that we solely use rainwater collection to supply our buildings. Please be mindful of water consumption during your stay, especially during the dry season. We are on a septic system for waste, please only flush toilet paper. :)
