Our house is located on the Längenberg, a chain of hills between Bern and Thun. The view extends over Lake Thun to the Alpine chain of the Bernese Oberland with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

The region belongs to the Gantrisch Nature Park with numerous excursion and hiking destinations. In addition, the historic Jakobsweg [Way of St. James] passes our house and the legendary Gätzibrunnen is diagonally opposite us.

The historic group of buildings of the Falenbach farm, which is within walking distance, is also worth seeing.
