Vacation rentals in Bern-Mittelland District

This property was perfect for my family of 5. It is an easy walk to a grocery store, bakery and cute downtown area but was still quiet and peaceful. It is perfectly located to explore the surrounding area easily. We have stayed in many airbnbs and can say from experience that they are NOT all created equal. This property really stood out to me because every detail was thoughtfully and tastefully executed. It felt like we were truly a guest in someone’s home, which is what it is supposed to feel like. Our hosts did not just meet our needs, they shared their gift of hospitality with us. Highly recommend!

Air BnB feedback Lovely farm apartment. Felt a true countryside feel and enjoyed being greeted by the goats. The property is spacious and offers a fantastic variety of games and books. laundry facilities were great and very useful during my stay with toddlers and only having 1 suitcase for family of 4. Dishwasher was out of order but no prior warning if this so on opening it horrible smelling stagnant water leaked over the floor. when I contacted hosted she was responsive. Lovely easy to communicate with host. good playground nearby next to fire station (8 minutes walk). Erlach and murten worth visiting and are 10-15 minutes drive away. we hired a car so I feel the property is most ideal if you have a car but there is a train station in brutteln. highly recommend this appartment and would book again in the future.

I loved the house. I was in a long stay and initially on remote work, so the space was wonderful, small but with all the necessary communities. A fantastic bathroom and a super-equipped kitchen. I felt very at home and the surroundings are beautiful. Only 15 min from downtown.

The in-law was for us (2 adults)., 3 children 5, 6 & 8 years old) ideal. Everything was as described, various toys for children available and also in the kitchen everything to get enough of a small family. Communication was always friendly and pleasant. Beatrice is an excellent host, friendly, attentive, helpful and yet discreet. She was always there when you had an issue or needed tips about the area. The highlight was certainly the great garden, both for the children and for the adults to end the evening. The funicular can be reached on foot within 15-20 minutes and a great starting point for various excursions in the wonderful surroundings. We'll be more than happy to come back! Thank you.😊

From arrival to check out, we felt the most at home and at ease at Nadja's place. Communication and directions for check in and out were easy. The bus is free, direct from the train and drops you off right infront of the grocery stores before you walk a short way through the quiet neighborhood to the place. We loved the ease of being able to pick up things for our own breakfast and dinners. Everything was neat and tidy and presented beautifully for us. Can't recommend enough for a lovely stay in the area! Very easy to get to neighbouring towns via bus and/or train station from here, as well. Would definitely come back!

We were lucky to find Simone’s beautiful place right by the lake Thun! It was love at first sight for us from the moment we entered the Faulensee village, lovely neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. If you love walking around, this place is just right for you. Inside the apartment was lovely and cosy. There’s a beautiful sit out overlooking the lake. We had our meals here whenever we could. All fittings and accessories are top class. The car parking is open but reserved for the apartment. We were very happy to get free private parking. Interlaken is just 15 minutes drive away. There’s a Volg grocery store a couple of minutes walk away. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this gem to other fellow travellers.

Bettina's place was a lovely get away. the location has great walks nearby with beautiful views. Not far from Thun or Bern, but tucked away on a quiet farm. Great get away. The kids loved playing with the toys and we loved the option of paying for an ice cream from the fridge below (has drinks, pizza, sausage, and ice cream great if you need something). Bettina was very flexible and kind. thank you!
