A charming private 460 SF guest suite with 2 spacious & comfortable king bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Full bath with walk in shower. And a small but cozy kitchenette / living room combo with full sleeper sofa. Please note it has a kitchenette - not a full kitchen. Kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, 2 burner hot plate, extra large capacity toaster oven & double sink. Best suited for MAX of 4 adults & 2 younger children as Sunset Suites is small & more like a hotel suite with 2 bedrooms.
POOL - Available May - October 20th. Above ground 12’ wide x 31” deep saltwater dipping pool. Shared with guests next door.
HOT TUB - Available October - April. Waterfront hot tub with attached screened in porch is tucked away in a private nook on the property underneath my house that is in the backyard. Hot tub is available to guests next door as well but you have it all to yourself when you are using it via a gated area.
KAYAKS - 2 kayaks available for use on the property - must sign waiver - guests next door also have the option to use them - creek is tidal
BIKES - 4 complimentary beach cruisers available (shared with the guests next door)
Waterfront hot tub with screened in porch with cozy couches available in a separate very private area on property that is underneath my house. It is shared between myself & other guests but you have it all to yourself tucked away in a very private nook right on the water when you are using it. I just ask guests to close the gate to the area when in use so that others know it is occupied.
There is also a beautiful courtyard with a grill, fire pit, outdoor dining, dock house / party room with tiki bar & bumper pool & dock that is great for kayaking, fishing & sipping cocktails at sunset. This area is shared with the guests next door & myself. But you have your entire interior suite all to yourself with your own private entrance.
Small dogs under 30lbs that are well behaved & on flea meds are welcome - $100 pet fee. Please note this is a duplex with a shared yard so dogs must be friendly & get along with other guests & pets. And you must pick up after them in the yard. Larger hypoallergenic/ non shedding, well behaved dogs are considered- please inquire before booking

This is half of a duplex - You will have the entire guest suite with its 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath & small kitchenette/ living room to yourself. The suite has 2 separate entrances - 1 on each bedroom. The rest of the property (backyard, dock, courtyard, pool, waterfront hot tub & connected screened in porch) is shared with the guests next door, myself & my family. The waterfront hot tub & screened in porch are underneath my house in the backyard (the house with the mural on it in the photos).
Other things to note
I grew up on Tybee & it has been my dream to move home & share my beautiful island with visitors. Sunset Suites is my manifestation of this dream. As such this is a shared property. You will definitely be seeing myself, my partner, our dogs, the guests next door & sometimes my parents & personal guests. We are a fun loving, easy going couple so feel free to say hi! And please stop by my partner’s brewery, Back River Brewery, and have a beer with us! Also we like to travel, so please note that we might not always be available or on site but will have everything prepared for your trip.
Also I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE trip insurance as I DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS. I am not responsible for personal / weather emergencies, such as hurricanes etc…
The house is older & is NOT PERFECT. It is clean, comfortable & well appointed with a very responsive host. But if you are a perfectionist who expects a pristine, sterile rental please book somewhere else.
I am SMALL dog friendly up to 30lbs with $100 pet fee. Dogs must be well behaved, friendly, on flea meds & you must pick up after them in the yard
