Please note that we are updating the furniture and listing photos so some of the furniture may be different than currently pictured. There is now a bed in the third bedroom rather than a pull out couch.

Los Angeles county collects 12% rental tax on all rents collected for vacation homes, so we will collect 12% tax on all reservations, payable through Airbnb at time of booking. We also require a signed rental agreement that we will email you after the booking is confirmed which includes providing your phone number as well as a copy of your ID. Only the people listed on the agreement may access the home.
Surveillance camera are used outside of the premises only to protect guests and hosts property.
The minimum age to rent our home is 24 years old with valid ID.
Additional Charges will be added for any additional guests who come without prior approval or who bring pets.
Stays over 2 weeks will have an additional cleaning fee, collected after booking for bi-monthly cleanings.
We recommend that guests purchase travel insurance for any unforeseen need to cancel, including but not limited to weather, air quality, road conditions, illness, or any other factor. You can look up travel insurance or purchase through airbnb.
If any rules are broken, (for example, smoking in the home, extra guests, pets, parties, noise complaints, etc) it is considered a breach of contract and you forfeit your deposit of $500, paid out through the resolution department. Additionally damage will be charged as per the amount to resolve the damage.
While the neighborhood is residential, guests are responsible for securing their own vehicles at all times. Please ensure cars are locked and no valuables are left inside. The host is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of vehicles or personal property.
The Automatic Shades in Main Bedroom:
Use the white remote control to operate the automatic shades. Push the bottom button on the remote and then the up or down arrows to open or close. You do not need to hold the button down – tap once for the direction you want the blinds to go.
The Cantina Door in the main bedroom:
To lock and unlock the Cantina Door in the main bedroom (that opens onto the back yard) follow these steps.
To UNLOCK the door, turn the lock switch to the RIGHT (or clockwise).
To LOCK the door FIRST pull the HANDLE UP until it clicks and then release the handle, then turn the lock switch to the LEFT (or counter clockwise).
The door must be locked properly when leaving the house.
The Oven:
This oven is from Europe and works a bit differently than we in the US are used to. Follow these steps:
Open oven about 1 inch. Turn the oven knob (second knob from the left) to the RIGHT just a little. You will hear clicking. Wait until you hear the oven gas start and then continue to turn the knob to the right to the desired temperature. Close the oven door. Turn off when finished.
The TV stand in livingroom doors:
This TV stand is also from Europe and functions differently than we in the US are used to. To open, please only open one side at a time. First PUSH the door in about an inch, then slide to open. After closing one side, you can do the same for the other side.
Water Filter:
The kitchen sink has a water filter system so all cool water coming out is filtered drinking water.
Smeg Coffee Maker:
To dump out used coffee grounds, first remove the front silver tray. Next pull out the drawer behind the tray. The used grounds are in this drawer, dump, rinse and replace. More usage directions are in the kitchen.
The Side Gate:
The side gate must remain locked at all times. If you need to use it, please make sure it is locked after use and due to its size and weight, it can only be left open for a few seconds at a time to avoid damage from pulling down on the hinges. It functions well if closed immediately after use. Any damage to the gate is at the expense of the guest.
