- Your safety matters! This property features 2 exterior security cameras with one facing from the front door and one facing the deck/waterfront area. They do not look into interior spaces.
Guest access
Guests may use the entire cabin, driveway, front yard to the road and backyard to the lake. The restricted areas are the shed, garage, pontoon, and boat lift. Guests should use caution on wet or icy paths around the exterior of the cabin.
In the summer months, there is access to a dock, swim platform, swim “Lily Pad”, two kids’ kayaks, and a canoe available for guest use.
Other things to note
A few cabin quirks: The cabin has a septic system. There is a septic alarm inside the utility closet of the second bedroom. If the septic alarm turns on, it emits a very loud beep sound. There is a whisper/silence mode button on the alarm which can be pressed to silence the alarm. The alarm system cord needs to remain plugged into that wall. Please notify us if the alarm goes off so that we can have a service person empty the system. The tank will only be 80% full so you may continue to use facilities as normal during your stay. Please only flush toilet paper in the toilet and dump any food waste in the kitchen garbage to avoid damage to the septic system.
In the event there is a loss of hot water, there is a breaker box in the second bedroom. The breaker listed for the water heater has likely tripped, it simply needs to be reset and wait for a short period for the water heater to reheat the water.
As a result of the septic system and smaller water heater, please try to refrain from washing clothes, washing dishes, and using the shower simultaneously. You’re more than welcome to use all amenities, but to ensure you have enough hot water, it’s best to space out the use a bit!
