Welcome to Pine House at Koru Sabi Lodge: your very own rainforest retreat. Located on 20 acres in Upper Burringbar, you will be able to enjoy a wood fire hot tub; sauna and; large outdoor area all with your friends and family.

The space
Pet policy & fees

- As pet owners ourselves, we wanted to ensure we are pet friendly
- All we ask is that you keep your pets off the beds and lounges and clean any paw marks and hair on the floors
- Pet fees = $25 per pet, per stay

The space

Pine House was designed and hand built by Buko, a renowned German builder in the region who built the infamous Beach Hotel in Byron Bay. It is a unique, two bedroom home that includes:
- A loft bedroom with a king size bed (please be aware to access this room you need to walk up a small set of stairs)
- A guest bedroom with a queen bed and single bed
- A fully equipped kitchen with two bar fridges, oven & stove top, toaster, kettle, moka coffee pot and all the cookware and utensils you could ever need
- An indoor bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin (please be aware to access the bathroom you need to walk down a small set of stairs)
- A small library
- An indoor fireplace (Note: firewood is not provided between Oct - Mar)
- An outdoor shower
- An outdoor bath (with hot and cold water taps)
- A fire pit (fire restrictions may apply during Summer months)

Outside of the home, you can also enjoy:
- A private wood fire hot tub (PLEASE READ ADDITIONAL DETAILS BELOW RE: HOT TUB)
- A private sauna
- Large backyard with a sheltered outdoor dining area
- A BBQ
- Bush walking tracks that traverse through the property

Guest access
You have private access to:
- All indoor and outdoor spaces
- Hot tub and sauna area

Other things to note
1. Please be aware to access the sauna & wood fire hot tub you will need to walk approx. 2 mins up a steep track

2. To heat the wood fire hot tub you need to start and maintain a fire for approx. 3 - 4 hrs. From April 1st - Sep 30, we provide you with fire wood to start and maintain the fire. Outside of these months, you will need to bring your own firewood. We provide you with a how-to guide.

3. If you want us to prepare and heat the wood fire hot tub for you there is an additional fee of $150. Please note, we require at least 7 days notice to ensure we have time to organise this.

4. From October 1 to March 31, we do not provide firewood due to increased fire risk during these months. If you wish to have an indoor or outdoor fire, please be aware you will need to bring your own.

5. If there are local fire bans in the area, we will notify you of the ban and what is and isn't allowed

6. We are located on 20 acres of rainforest so although our cleaners try their best to ensure the cabin is free of insects we can't promise that there won't be any.
