Wright On is a classic OBX "beach box" located at MP 8. Our 3 bedroom/2 bath cute & cozy cottage is between the highway and beach road. It's an easy & super close walk to the beach - 4-6 min walk/0.2 miles to the beach access (no busy road to cross). Wright On is near great restaurants & everything else you need in the OBX. We know you will love our family’s simple, clean, and comfy beach cottage and spending time at your new home away from home! Message to book multiple week stays. No pets

The space
Wright On is perfect for single families, a couple, or a group up to six people. The home is simple, clean, and allows you to “get away from it all” and relax while on your beach vacation. It is perfect for a week-long summer adventure or a 2-3 day beach escape.

Cottage interior was completely renovated in 2022. There are all new floors, new kitchen cabinets, new stove, new bathroom vanities, and more!

Our cottage has three bedrooms with two full baths.
•The Master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bathroom.
•The second bedroom has a queen bed.
•The third bedroom has two twin beds.
•Each bedroom and the living room has a Roku enabled smart TV. You can watch your favorite apps (but you need your own log in for those apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc…)
•Additional full bathroom in the hallway.

Our cozy living room has all you need to relax after a fun day at the beach, including a Roku enabled TV (you'll need to have your own app sign on/NO cable) and a blu-ray/DVD player. We have lots of games available for guests, as well as a library of books to read while relaxing.

Our kitchen is fully outfitted with silverware, dishes, cups, pots and pans, a 12-cup Cuisinart programmable coffee maker (with filter so no need to bring paper filters), microwave, oven, fridge, and blender for any of your cooking needs.

Wright On has a very large yard with (actual!) grass. There are NO sand spurs or prickly pear cacti (so your little ones can run around and play!) where you can hang out after a great day at the beach (if you've not been to the OBX before, this is a pretty big deal, since spurs and cacti are everywhere). You can grill out with the charcoal Weber grill and play corn hole (boards and bean bags are at the cottage). All grilling must be done at least ten feet from the cottage.

Guest access
Guests are able to use the entire home, except for one owner's closet in the house and small closet downstairs inside laundry room.

Other things to note
We provide a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and dishwashing soap.

Please follow the check out procedures in our welcome manual. Guests who do not follow the check out procedures may incur additional fees to support the cleaning of the property.

This is a smoke-free cottage. The use of tobacco products, including vaping, inside the home, as well as anywhere on the premises, including the decking areas and lawn, is prohibited.

Anyone who lives within a 40 mile drive to the cottage must contact us prior to booking.

Parties, events, and other gatherings are not permitted at Wright On.

We do NOT permit pets and are unable to make any exceptions to this rule (sorry, please don't ask, as we will not be able to accommodate). In accordance with ADA guidelines, we only allow trained service dogs that perform tasks for individuals with disabilities.

We do provide a full refund in cases of hurricanes or tropical storms, either if the guest wants to cancel due to the storm (full) or leave during stay (partial with the days stayed being charged).

Wright On is located on a quiet, family-friendly, one-block street with very little car traffic. You can relax after a busy beach day on our deck and have a view of the Wright Memorial. We love the location of the home - it's perfectly placed in the OBX. You will be near grocery stores (Publix 1 mi., Harris Teeter 2.2 mi.) and numerous restaurants, drugstores, mini golf, golf course, movie theater, laser tag, bowling, and fishing piers, and more.
