Welcome to No.28, our two double bed cottage in the heart of Cowes.
WightLink or RF ferry discounts available.
All within walking distance from No. 28:
* Red Jet passenger terminal and Floating Bridge (link from East Cowes Red Funnel terminal)
* Pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent boutiques and gift shops.
* Marks and Spencer's Food Hall (main bus station outside) and Sainsburys
* Cowes Esplanade, beach, Yacht Clubs and marinas.
* Northwood House with 17 acres of parklands

The space
No. 28 is a terraced two bedroom cottage, built in 1842 as a boat builders cottage.
The downstairs has a lounge with two settees and TV. There are Freeview channels plus Amazon Prime, I Player etc.
The bathroom is located under the stairs, shampoo, conditioner, soaps and body wash are provided.
The fully equipped galley kitchen is located at the back of the cottage with microwave, kettle, coffee grinder and percolators, full compliment of kitchen utensils, gas hob and electric oven.
There is no inside dining area. We have provided trays and you can eat al fresco on a warm day. In the garden we have an outside/in washouse area, a cozy nook to dine.
There are two generous sized double bedrooms with ample hanging space and storage. Towels and hairdryer are provided. Plus a small ironing board and iron. Outside is the courtyard which houses the slate tiled old washhouse at the back.
The washing machine and drier are housed in this building and can be used by guests.

Guest access
You have the run of the cottage and the courtyard, with the exterior cosy wash house being an undercover seating and dining area.

Bicycles can be stored in the courtyard if required.

Other things to note
No. 28 is opposite Cross Street Car Park, a short stay carpark, where you can purchase the Tourist Permit to cover your stay on the PaybyPhone app.

This permit covers your car for most IOW Council operated carparks and parking bays on the Island.

There are electric vehicle charging points opposite the cottage.

There are a few streets nearby which have unrestricted parking, but usually not available in the summer.
