Atop an idyllic spiral staircase, you’ll find a romantic a-frame loft with a king bed. There is a lay flat sofa bed in the downstairs common area. Open the doors and windows for a refreshing evening breeze.
Enjoy the amenities or have a drink in the very private backyard. High speed internet and a large smart TV offer seamless connectivity whether it's vacation time or work time.
This property is ideal for 2 people and approved for 3 if you use the lay flat sofa bed downstairs.

Other things to note
* This property is a unique and smaller (~550 sqft) property ideal for two and permitted for no more than 3 people. It is designed to comfortably accommodate a couple and a small child.
* The main sleeping area hosts a king-sized bed in the loft atop the spiral staircase. Steps are required as seen in the photos.
* There is also a lay flat sofa bed down stairs.
* Check-in: after 4 pm (4:30 for peak season) | Check-out: by 11:00am
* Late check out fees apply ($25 per half hour starting at 11:00am). If we can accommodate a later check out, we will at no charge. Just ask us and we’ll do our best.
* The cleaners charge $10 per bag of garbage left in the home. Please place all trash in the bin just outside. No need to go to an offsite dumpster nor take it home with you.
* The property has a Ring video surveillance system on the front of the house for security.
* Note that Big Bear is an active natural biosphere. Please the use screens on all doors and windows to keep our cabin as clean as possible.
* The property is regularly treated for ants and insects with a focus on being entirely insect-free.

* We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:
* We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
* We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
* We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
* We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
* We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines.
* Summertime standing AC provided for the warm months to keep you extra comfortable. All windows and doors are screened - open the windows and doors to get a wonderful evening breeze.
* There are three ways in and out of Big Bear (HWY 330, 18, 38). Snow or road conditions may require a different route up or back home than expected. We do not refund for road closures when there is another open route available during the checkin window. Road closures after checkin information is sent are not subject to refunds. Travel insurance in the winter might be useful.
* Check road conditions before heading up to the mountains.
* The driveway is flat and shallow which is especially nice in winter. Always be mindful of your step. In the winter, we leave a shovel should you need one to make a short path for your car. We only plow/shovel in between guests as weather conditions necessitate. Snow may accumulate after we plow and before you arrive as well as during your stay. NOTE: you may need to shovel snow.
* In the winter, always bring chains and have a full tank of gas. Be prepared for changing road conditions.
