Longstone Barn is a superbly equipped luxury barn conversion set in glorious rural surroundings, with its own beautiful garden, 5 minutes’ drive from the seaside village of Coverack with a pretty harbour and a sandy beach at low tide. All of SW Cornwall and many cafes, pubs and restaurants all within easy reach.
Babies up to 2yrs old are accepted at the barn and a cot with mattress, high chair, baby bath and changing mat can be provided.
The space
Waiting for guests will be a welcome treat of a Cornish cream tea with home baked scones, clotted cream and jam.
This beautiful light, bright barn is always cosy in the cooler months thanks to the underfloor heating and wood burner (wood supplied free of charge.) The thick stone walls and tiled floors keep the barn cool on a hot day and the open vaulted ceiling in the living space gives a feeling of calm and airiness.
The bedroom has beautiful views of the garden, a king size copper bed made with a feather all seasons duvet, with both feather and synthetic pillows and White company 100% cotton bedlinen. There is a dressing table with back lit mirror, a hairdryer and a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers.
The ensuite luxury shower room has a drench shower, an additional hand held shower head and a large wash basin on a granite surround. Fluffy towels are laid out on the heated towel rail. Luxury toiletries and hand soap are provided, we like to spoil our guests!
The large open plan kitchen/dining/living area has French windows opening on to the flower filled garden, planted with olives, lavender, fig and palm trees and much more. The garden is for your exclusive use and has open views across our large secluded garden.
In the garden you will find a Weber BBQ, parasol, table and chairs for eating outside, Adirondack chairs and a firepit; it’s fun to pile up the logs, cosy up and watch the stars.
The dining area has a lovely seating area with plenty of space to spread out, and the kitchen has granite surfaces and is equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook up a feast.
There is WIFI throughout the barn

Guests have their own separate private access to the barn using a key safe to collect the keys.
24hr access so you can check in when you want after 4pm.
The code for the key safe will be sent prior to your arrival. Please note that this code is changed for each arrival.
Other things to note:
No pets, even well behaved ones are hosted at the barn
Please let us know before your stay if you are bringing a baby, if you require any of the items we can provide- cot, baby bath, high chair, changing mat.
Please let us know before your stay if you have an EV so we can set up charging facilities for you, (a standard external 3 pin socket)and agree costs if applicable.

•Kitchen & laundry essentials (washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, antibacterial spray, washing powder, softener, dishcloths, tea towels)
•Books and maps with local information,

•ON REQUEST: Cot with mattress and high chair, changing mat (Babies up to 2 years welcomed)

Why not spend Christmas at Longstone Barn?
It’s usually very mild weather in this part of Cornwall at Christmas and there is plenty going on, Christmas sea swims, Carol services, local harbours and villages lit up with Christmas lights and decorations, cosy pubs with real fires and good food.....
We dress the barn in style with a local Christmas tree and lights, a candle table decoration, and put local seasonal food treats out for our guests.
The wood burner is laid ready, the log basket is full, and the underfloor heating makes the barn a super cosy, luxury place to spend Christmas.
