Some info has been automatically translated.
This home is beautifully restored by one of Jersey City's top designers. There are original Hardwood Floors throughout the home, 10ft ceilings, great natural sunlight and a designated work space.

This bedroom shares a bathroom with another bedroom we rent in our home. We offer a shared kitchen and living space and onsite parking for a fee.

We take pride in offering a safe space that accepts PEOPLE of ALL religions, beliefs, or backgrounds. We have many returning solo female travelers.

The space
When you stay with us, you're stepping into more than just a home; you're entering a space filled with warmth, intention, and care. In a world that can sometimes feel rushed or unkind, we believe in offering genuine hospitality rooted in kindness and comfort.

We hope our photos capture the energy of the space - calm, positive, and welcoming. What pictures may not show, you will feel once you are here (or you can read our reviews lol).

--No Visitors--
We do not allow any visitors inside the home except the 2 individuals staying in the room.

--Stairs to Enter home--
This apartment is located on the second floor of the home. Please note that guests will need to use stairs both to enter the home and to access the apartment upstairs.

--Size of the Home--
This spacious home, originally built in 1901, offers historic charm and character. Please note: that while the bedroom is a comfortable standard size, the bathroom is more compact — a common feature in homes of this era.”

--Shared Space--
The kitchen and living space are shared spaces that we will be using as well. Although we hope it would not matter, we are a gay couple who reside in the home. This is a shoeless home and we ask that guests take off their shoes when entering the home.

--Early Check-In & Check-Out Policy--
We’re happy to offer early check-in when available! For a $30 fee, guests may check in as early as 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM, depending on the day’s schedule. This must be requested and paid at least 24 hours prior to arrival to ensure proper coordination.

Please note: Late check-out is not available, as we need time to prepare the space for incoming guests.

--Travel-- (more details in Other Details Section)
Our home is very accessible to most traveler destinations.

--Parking--
Street parking is free.

All of Jersey City has a 4 Hr parking without a permit. While they do not enforce it often, you’d be parking on the street at your discretion. We are not responsible for any tickets guests’ receive.

If you do decide to park on the street, we recommend to move your car daily into a new spot. It's a lot easier to park before 6pm and after that it is difficult to park.

We also offer a parking spot for $20 per night should you choose that option. It gives guests a piece of mind and the freedom of returning late and not having to search for parking. Parking must be booked and paid for in advance and we cannot offer same day parking.

Guest access
The code to the front entrance and apartment entrance will always be the same 4 digit number followed by a #.

Your entrance code will be sent to you on the afternoon of checkin.

-----Transportation CozyHome Jersey City to Times Square Manhattan----

Getting into NY, Manhattan and Times Square is very easy from our home.

The most convenient and fastest way to Times Square or Manhattan in general is the bus on the corner of our home. It is a 30 minute ride in. Depending on the time of year and time of day, the travel time may change.

-- When leaving the home, make a right and the bus stop is on the corner of Kennedy Blvd and North St. You will see a Pink sign that reads Central Auto. (1 minute walk) There you can take the 125 NJ transit bus or the Gate 51 bus into Port Authority in NYC.

--The Gate 51 bus does not show up on google maps but passes by every 30 minutes during the day. The Gate 51 bus stops running from NY Port Authority Bus back to NJ at 10pm. This is the easiest way to return back from NY.

--There is also the 119 NJ transit bus on the corner of Congress St and Central Ave. (7 minute walk) This bus runs the latest into the morning, I believe it stops running around 2am.

--You can pay cash on all of these bus options. NJ Transit does have an app that you can buy tickets on. NJ Transit buses do not offer change. The Gate 51 bus is the only bus that does offer change.

-- If you would like to take the path train into the city, take the 125 NJ transit bus or the Gate 51 bus towards Journal Square (Southbound). This bus stop is located in front of the building at 3603 John F Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City NJ. From Journal Square you can take the 33rd st train or the WTC train into Manhattan.
