“It’s 5 O’Clock Here!” Beautiful, cozy, waterfront, pet-friendly cabin with a 4-person HOT TUB, gas-log fireplace, and outdoor firepit with wood provided! Our cabin has memory foam mattress beds, one queen and one full, and a kitchen. We provide cookware, Keurig coffee maker, linens, and towels. Very relaxing, next to a stocked pond and the Blue Ridge Parkway! Enjoy the loft, accessible by indoor ladder. Great wineries, breweries, bluegrass music, hiking, fishing, and mountain biking nearby.

The space
The main bedroom is very cozy and on the lower level of the cabin. The cute loft bedroom is accessible by a ladder inside the cabin. We generally recommend no more than four guests, although a fifth guest may sleep on the living room couch if needed. (Standard couch, does not open out.) Kitchen accommodates four and there is also a picnic table on the front porch. The hot tub is on the front porch for you to enjoy!

Guest access
Guests may use the outdoor pavilion area when not in use. Guests are required to clean up after themselves and remove all trash. Trash bags may be placed in a bin located behind the cabin or along the road.

Other things to note
We are pet friendly and charge $20 per pet per stay. We do ask that if you bring a pet that you also bring a spare sheet or blanket cover up the couch to help protect it from damage and flying fur. :)

Neighborhood highlights

Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and adjacent to a pond. Very peaceful and quiet. Enjoy the solitude. We are 15 miles from downtown Mount Airy, also known as "Mayberry", home of Andy Griffith with museums, shopping, etc. Great quaint mountain shops, lots and lots of fruit orchards our area is famous for, rivers, canoe rentals, horse rentals, hiking, and lots of breweries and wineries. The cabin is less than 1/10 of a mile from Wellness Pursuits, which offers yoga and fitness classes in a rural mountain setting. We are only about 25 minutes from the historic and beautiful Mabry Mill and Meadows of Dan. Galax and the New River Trail are about 35 minutes from the cabin.

My husband, Dennis, and I love the outdoors. We both enjoy cycling, hiking, good food, breweries, and wineries and this part of Virginia is perfect for adventuring. We are the new owners of two adorable cabins, "Time to Unwine" and "It's Five O'Clock Here," located in Fancy Gap just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We look forward to sharing them with you!
