Built in 1878, our traditional Lakeland cottage has 2 private parking spaces and is situated in the heart of Windermere, one minute's walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs. It is a well appointed country style cottage offering space and great features. It has a private patio with dining furniture at the rear. The sitting room, kitchen & dining room are on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly installed bathrooms are on the 1st floor and the utility room is located in the basement.

The space
A traditional, well appointed and homely Lakeland cottage, ideal for families and friends to holiday together in. It has retained its rustic and traditional charm in the design of its rooms, whilst also offering a true feel of home-from-home in terms of its practicality and comfort. A touch of luxury is added with 400 thread count 100% Egyptian cotton linen on the very comfortable beds. Local handmade and natural skincare products by Pure Lakes along with luxurious fluffy bath sheets are provided in the recently installed luxurious bathroom suites. The property is deceptively spacious, with some wonderful original features and a lovely private outdoor area to the rear. To cater for families, we have plenty of games and children’s DVDs. The Smart TV in the sitting room provides free access to Netflix and has a good selection of DVDs and there is a portable Bang & Olufsen Beosound Bluetooth Speaker for guests to use whilst at the cottage. There is a useful utility room with a washer/dryer machine, clothes airer and second fridge along with a boot rack in the basement.

Guest access
Guests are able to access all rooms in the property, other than the store room in the basement.

Other things to note
We have two private parking spaces. The driveway to the property is quite narrow and may be unsuitable for very large vehicles. We have a Volvo XC 90 and use the drive without any issue. However, if you wish, we do have an on-street parking permit located in the guest information folder, which guests may use during their stay. Please place the permit back in the guest information folder before you depart.
