Our 2 bedroom 2 bath home 2 miles west of Emporium is ready for you to enjoy. This area of Cameron and Elk Counties has become famous for our dark skies, bike rides, bugling elk and much more. We’re close to seasonal ATV trails, hunting & fishing. Our house is steps from the local rail trail for walking, biking, and snowmobiling.
The space
Rental consists of entire main floor of home. Available space includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and pantry.
Driveway parking by the house will easily fit 2 vehicles and additional atv/snowmobile trailer parking is available on the property.
Basement, garage, and all outbuildings are locked and off limits to guests.
Newly updated living room: Electric fireplace, TV, plenty of seating for the whole family. Newly installed mini-split air conditioner with heating option.
Updated kitchen: Basic appliances and kitchen utensils are all provided. Gas range and fridge/freezer with ice and water. Keurig and k-cups are provided. Bar seating for 4.
Dining: Full dining table with seating for 6 and pantry space for your groceries.
Bedroom 1 (master): Split king adjustable bed, closet and dresser space. Second mini-split air conditioner with heat option. Linens provided.
Master bath: Attached to master bedroom and includes tub/shower combo. Bath towels provided.
Laundry: Attached to master bedroom, washer and dryer available to guests (detergent provided).
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, closet, and dresser space. Linens provided.
Bathroom 2: 3/4 bath with corner shower and vanity. Bath towels provided.
Outside space includes a large mowed space, brand new deck with patio furniture, covered front porch with 4 Adirondack chairs, fenced in back yard, and a large firepit. Multiple fruit trees on the property offer beautiful blooms and fresh fruit through the late summer and fall.
Guest access
Basement, garage, and all outbuildings are locked and off limits to guests.
Guests have access to main floor of the home, front yard, back fenced-in yard, and backyard firepit area.
Other things to note
For safety and security, the house is protected with a Nest Doorbell cam. Be aware that you will be on video as you are entering and exiting the house. There is a Google speaker in the kitchen for all of your Hey Google needs.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. The backyard is fenced on 2 sides with chain link fencing and on the other 2 sides with garden fencing (bordering woods and shrubbery). While it is a fairly secure fence, jumpers and Houdini dogs could definitely escape and we absolutely do not recommend leaving dogs unattended at any time.
