Gula Villan is an old house from the 1930s located in cozy Hulevik, only 1.5 km to Åsnens National Park. The house is large at about 170 sqm and offers 4 large bedrooms as well as an outhouse with sleeping loft. The house has two fireplaces that can be used, as well as a large sauna with room for 6-7 people. Gula Villan has a large and beautiful garden and it is close to the beach and marina, about 200-300 meters.

The space
The yellow villa has 4 bedrooms with two beds in each. In one bedroom, there is also a crib and a baby bed. There are also sleeping opportunities in a cabin with a sleeping loft located in the garden (NOTE: only for summer time) and a sofa bed upstairs.

The downstairs has a kitchen, a toilet with shower and sauna, a newly renovated room with dining area, a newly renovated bedroom with double bed and a large living room that is perfect for cozy socializing. There are games, puzzles and crafts available.

Upstairs has a newly built toilet (2022) with shower. There are three large, airy bedrooms with double beds in two rooms and two single beds in one room. One of the bedrooms also has a desk with lovely views as well as children's beds. A small TV corner with sofa bed as well as a play corner for children with toys and dressing clothes.

In the garden, there is an outhouse with a fireplace and a sleeping loft where 2-3 people can sleep if needed. Outdoor furniture is available in different parts of the garden to be able to catch the sun as desired on sunny days. The garden is well protected from view so it's easy to be private. There is a hammock, swing and large areas with soccer goals.

Hulevik offers amazing nature as your closest neighbor. Go out by boat and fishing, picking mushrooms in the forest, swimming by that swimming area or just hanging in your very own large garden. This home is right on Åsnens National Park in Småland. One of the National Park entrances "Trollberget is located about 1,5km from the guest house with a cozy walk there. The child-friendly swimming area in Hulevik is only 300 m away and the harbour is about 200 m away, where it is possible to rent 2 Linder aluminum boats with engine from us. Booked guests will receive a discount on boat booking.

The village of Hulevik was in the first half of the 20th century a small mill with an industry that was mainly based on wood raw material that was transported on barges that were towed over the lake by steamboat. Wooden wool was a successful product that was shipped out from Hulevik by rail and even occupied to such distant countries as far as South Africa.

Today, the village has about 16 permanent homes and about 40 holiday homes.
