Welcome to GORGEcation - we invite you to 'pause and re-wine' at our Olson Kundig design home. Nestled inside the Ancient Lakes AVA region in Eastern WA, we are located next to the Gorge Amphitheatre with sweeping views of the Gorge and vineyards.

The space
Our home is at the perfect intersection for enjoying concerts, high desert landscape, Columbia River views and estate vineyards.
The house features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests with 2 King beds, 2 convertible chair beds (twin), 2 convertible sofa beds (twin). We also offer Graco Pack N' Play Care suite for infants.
We offer keyless entry, fully equipped modern kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows, 4 climate zones - heating and cooling controlled by ecobee sensors, heated concrete floors, free 256 MBps internet connection with mesh wi-fi 6, 4K Smart TVs in living room and both bedrooms, 7-seater hot-tub with 40 jets, covered driveway to park up to 3 cars, EV charger for Tesla, overhead heaters in back patio.
The master bedroom comes with a King bed, attached standing shower, spacious wardrobe, black-out curtains, 55" 4K HD TV, access to the patio and expansive view of the gorge.
The second bedroom is quite spacious as well with a King bed, spacious wardrobe, detached bathroom with a tub/shower and a washer-dryer tucked in and 55" 4K HD TV. Both the bedrooms have their own temperate controls.
The modern kitchen has new energy efficient appliances plus a wine cooler, toaster, microwave oven, Keurig k-duo coffee maker, kettle, and blender. Includes all kitchen utensils, pots and pans, children's plates/cups, and spices.
The home has a blazing speed internet (iFibre, fastest in the state of WA!) connecting to 12 devices and ideal for remote work and school.
Our nook features a record player and a 'wall of records' showcasing our wide variety of vinyl records. Snap your insta-worthy pictures and tag us @gorgecation. You can also enjoy our collection of books, indoor and outdoor games. Upon request, we may be able to share our private collection of Grunge records and early Pink Floyd (Syd Barrett!) LPs.
Other things to note
You will be among the beautiful high desert landscape amongst the beautiful natural settings sharing space with bugs, rattle snakes, rodents, etc . The area experiences strong winds (upto 70 miles an hour) and rapid temperature drops in the summer. Please tread carefully, step out with layered clothing and practice to keep the doors closed and your food waste cleared.
There are a few good restaurants in and around Quincy. Quincy is famous for its regional Mexican cuisine. Look for Tacos, Jalisco cuisine and food trucks.
Wenatchee, the Apple capital of the world and the scenic German town Leavenworth are 45 minutes away. 95% of all U.S. fresh apples exported to 60 markets worldwide are grown in the Wenatchee valley. Over 2.5 Million visitors from around the world come to Leavenworth every year. The Oktoberfest is a huge attraction and you should plan well in advance.

Transplants to the Seattle area cultural phenomenon since 2008 and drawn to the music scene, we have been soaking up the various influences and the grapes too!. The Gorge Amphitheatre has been our favorite venue with so much Sasquatch memories, Phish-nights, camping with our kid and friends for DMB weekends. The seagrunge-by-the-lake is a tribute, nestled inside the ancient lakes AVA winery - Cave B Estate Winery and inside the award winning SageCliffe resort and spa.
