This spacious and bright art nouveau apartment is located in the heart of the picturesque town of Póvoa de Varzim. António dos Santos Graça, a famous writer, ethnologist and senator of the city of Porto, once lived in this apartment. The interior is a colourful mixture of local findings and Nordic design and is constantly being added to and redesigned. We love the artistic flair of the house and we would like to share this inspiring atmosphere with you. Welcome :-)

The space
High ceilings, stucco and metre-high casement windows - the stately look of bygone times makes this apartment a real gem. From the French balcony, which faces the pedestrian zone, you can drink your morning coffee and watch the pedestrians. The small terrace in the back has sun from midday and is perfect for sunbathing or for a candlelight dinner. By the way, it is only five minutes up the street to the beach.

Other things to note
The city of Póvoa de Varzim has introduced a tourist tax of €1.50 per person (aged 12 and over) per night. Unfortunately, it is not yet technically possible to list this tax directly through Airbnb, so we will write to you separately to transfer the taxes in advance.
We have to transfer this fee directly to the city council, it is not additional income for us and we are legally obliged to do so.
