Welcome to Deer Hideout, a private 850sqft studio-style log cabin just 6 miles from the Nisqually Entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park. Surrounded by towering evergreens and an easy drive from Seattle, this retreat is your gateway to the mountain year-round — summer wildflower hikes, fall foliage drives, winter snowshoeing, and spring waterfall chases all begin at your doorstep.
In the charming town of Ashford, grab a bite at the Wildberry Restaurant or BaseCamp Bar & Grill, and take the scenic Highway 706 to the park for world-class trails and views.
Inside, the open-concept layout features a cozy living space with big windows framing the forest. Curl up by the wood stove, stay connected with Starlink WiFi (100 Mbps), or work from the dedicated workspace. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, and chef’s knives. Out on the deck, fire up the 6-burner BBQ.
After a day of adventure, soak in the private hot tub under the stars, gather around the fire pit, or play giant Connect Four and cornhole in the yard. The quiet community and dark skies make for unforgettable stargazing.
Sleep comfortably in a king-size rustic log bed, bunk beds, or a queen sofa bed — accommodating up to six guests. Please note the bedroom area has no door, creating an open and airy feel throughout the cabin.
