The space
Enjoy the comfort and privacy of our thoughtfully designed room, located within my home. Although it's part of the main house, we've created a separate entrance and private yard exclusively for your use, ensuring a locked and secluded space that remains completely private from the rest of the house.
Inside the room, you'll find everything you need for a cozy stay. The full bathroom offers convenience and privacy, allowing you to freshen up at your own pace. Relax on the comfortable full-sized bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration.
To accommodate your storage needs, a wardrobe is provided, offering ample space to keep your belongings organized and easily accessible. We've also included a mini fridge, electric kettle, and coffee pot for your convenience. Whether you prefer a hot cup of coffee in the morning or want to store some snacks and beverages, these additions ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Fresh towels and bedding are provided to enhance your comfort, and we take pride in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a pleasant environment throughout your stay.
Our room offers the convenience of a hotel room with a touch of thoughtfulness. We've carefully added these amenities to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your visit.
Guest access
When you arrive at our property, convenient street-side parking is available along Navajo Trail, next to the cinderblock fence line. From there, you'll notice a white gate at the top of the driveway. Follow the concrete walkway on the left side of the house, leading you to your own private yard and the entrance to the rental.
Within the private yard, you'll find an outdoor gas grill and comfortable seating, providing the perfect setting for enjoying some fresh air and relaxation.
As you step into the rental, you'll first enter a mudroom, thoughtfully designed to keep your belongings organized and minimize clutter in the sleeping area. Hang jackets and purses and kick off your shoes, ensuring a tidy and welcoming space.
Through the second door in the mudroom, you'll enter the sleeping area. This cozy space features a full-sized bed, a wardrobe with a mirror for hanging garments, and ample storage for suitcases, extra blankets, sheets, and towels. We've made sure to provide all the essentials to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
For your convenience, a mini fridge is available to store any groceries or leftovers you might have. Additionally, we've provided tea and coffee, so you can enjoy a hot beverage at your leisure.
We've taken care of the details to ensure that your stay is convenient and comfortable from the moment you arrive.
Other things to note
As a clothing designer working full-time from home, I want to inform you that the room you'll be staying in is located adjacent to my sewing studio. While I have taken steps to minimize noise, it's possible that you may occasionally hear some sounds associated with my work throughout the day. Please rest assured that I will be respectful of your privacy and will do my best to maintain a quiet and peaceful environment during your stay.
Additionally, I want to note that several of my neighbors have dogs and throughout the day they can be heard barking at one another. I have good relationships with all of my neighbors and will always help mitigate any noise issues.
Furthermore, please be aware that I own a motorcycle, which will often be parked in the driveway. There may be instances where you hear the sound of the motorcycle when I am entering or exiting the property. I will strive to minimize any disturbances and be mindful of noise levels to ensure your comfort.
