Where you’ll be

Valdoviño, A Coruña, Spain

- Our house is located in Valdoviño, on the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James), on the route to San Andrés de Teixido, a magical Celtic path.
The road's history dates back to Neolithic times, as evidenced by the many legends that exist around it. It is said that to San Andrés de Teixido “vai de morto o que non vai de vivo” (“you will go as a dead man if you have not gone in life”).
A visit to San Andrés de Teixido is a highly recommended excursion, preferably on a clear and sunny day to enjoy Vixia de Herbeira (Europe's highest continental cliffs).
The area has hiking trails and the road to San Andrés passes in front of the house, and you can visit “A capela da fame” and the Church of San Pedro de Loiba in a short walk.

- Six kilometers (or ten minutes by car) separate our country house from the famous A Frouxeira Beach, known for its fabulous sand and the therapeutic power of its waters. It also has a lagoon that constitutes an ecosystem of great value. Thousands of birds (especially migratory birds) live there, finding it the ideal place to rest and nest. It is included in the General Register of Natural Spaces of Galicia and considered a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention.

- Also nearby are the beaches of Villarrube, Baleo and Pantín, the latter beach where the famous Pantín Classic (surfing world championship) is held.

- Cedeira is fifteen kilometers away. A seaside and summer village with a wide range of restaurants and an environment that stands out for its nature and landscape.

That's why I organize small events linked to these areas and photo collaborations on time.
