Other things to note
HOT TUB:
The hot tub is available for your use at YOUR OWN RISK and provided as an added perk for our guests. Please know that we do our VERY best to maintain a clean hot tub, but we CANNOT guarantee so due to the sensitive nature of the water levels. The condition of the hot tub can change from guest to guest depending on use. Please help us maintain a clean hot tub by using the outdoor shower before entering and ensure that the floating chlorine stays in the water. Please keep the hot tub at 90 degrees when not in use. The hot tub is typically serviced every other Wednesday.

SAUNA:
The sauna is available for guest use, should guests feel that they are able to use it and do not have any health conditions that may prohibit its use. The cleanliness of the sauna is based on the previous user as we request that the sauna be sprayed down after each use. Please do not wear shoes in the sauna and we ask that all guests sit on a towel when using the sauna. Directions for use are in the sauna. Please do not enter the hot tub directly from the sauna and shower before entering the hot tub.

PET POLICY:
We LOVE pets (hence our Lab photobombing most of the photos!) and invite you to enjoy this space with your beloved companion(s); however, in order to ensure the longevity of the cabin for years to come, there are a few rules:
Pets are allowed with a maximum of 2. Please indicate when booking that you plan to have pets. A fee of $100 will be added to the reservation to cover the extra cleaning/maintenance costs. Please ensure that the pets are with you while you are away from the cabin or crated if staying at the cabin while you are away. Pets may not be left unattended on the deck. Failure to disclose pets on the property will result in loss of security deposit.

WATER SOURCE:
The cabin water supply is Spring fed. Water is triple filtered and then passed through a UV light system to ensure the cleanest, freshest mountain water.

OUTDOOR FIREPLACE:
We welcome you to use the outdoor propane fire pit, which can be turned on via the ignitor on the side of the fire pit and the gas valve should also be turned to the on position. The timer should be turned to the desired time. Please never leave your fire unattended and be sure the fire is turned off before retiring for the night. Also- please DO NOT roast marshmallows or any other food over the fire pit.

Neighborhood highlights

The cabin is 0.25 miles from the entrance to Black Rock Mountain State Park, Georgia's highest state park. BRMSP boasts 11 miles of trails, a lake, two waterfalls and endless wildlife and flora.

Taken from the GA State Parks Website: "Georgia's highest state park encompasses some of the most outstanding scenery in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Roadside overlooks provide spectacular 80-mile vistas, and four hiking trails lead visitors past wildflowers, streams, small waterfalls and lush forests. Visitors enjoy the summit visitor center for its views, gift shop and picnic tables."

Our favorite tradition is to ride up the 1 mile drive to the Blueridge overlook at sunset or sunrise and take in the spectacular long range Mountain View’s in to North and South Carolina.

If you are looking for amazing farm to table dining and local shops, the cabin is a short 10 minute drive to down town Clayton OR a short 10 minute drive to Dillard.
