Welcome to the beautiful luxury of Villa Caicresce - the perfect place to reconnect with friends and family.

Long lazy lunches surrounded by the magnificent unending view or an aperitivo on the terrace or by the pool. The choice is yours... and just a few kms from the magical village of Montone (with some great restaurants).

Check-in day during high season is Saturday.

The space
Villa Caicresce is set in a secluded but accessible location, on large grounds, complete with a couple of small olive groves. The villa is spacious with lots of living space and bathrooms for every bedroom (I know, this is hard to find, and soooo good). A large cooks kitchen completes the package.

The villa is a classically beautiful old stone farmhouse - full of history and original features (including the remains of the original tobacco tower), but with all the modern amenities needed for a wonderful vacation.
If you are lucky enough to be staying in July and August (and even early September), there is also a beautiful fig tree down by the pool ...pick fresh, sun warmed figs for your breakfast - YUM!

The main villa comprises of 5 bedrooms with five ensuite bathrooms. A few metres away, there is a free-standing guest-house (the old barn) with 2 extra bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms, a large living space and full kitchen.

The villa and guest house are full of beautiful traditional features, including cool cotto flooring, exposed stone walls and high ceilings with exposed beams and original arches.

The villa has an excellent cooks kitchen with plenty of space for lots of 'helpers', stone benches, stainless steel appliances and and is well stocked with all the equipment you might need. Additionally, there is a brand new top of the range gas BBQ located in the new Logia outside the kitchen.

There are four living areas inside the Villa (one with an open fireplace) so larger groups can spread out and relax or gather together comfortably.

The bedrooms are all simply and stylishly furnished, with modern ensuite bathrooms, including a beautiful claw-footed bath in the master bedroom.

The gardens at Caicresce are particularly beautiful, with many places to relax and enjoy the view and tranquility. At the front of the villa is a terrace with an incredible hand-made marble table easily fitting 14 people - perfect for evening dining. Below the terrace is a wonderful 'aperativo lounge' with comfortable lounge seating for drinks or perhaps an afternoon snooze?

Down the sweeping staircase at the front of the villa is the large swimming pool, sharing the same stunning view as the villa. Plenty of comfortable seating and umbrellas surround the pool. There is a shower to rinse off before swimming (due May 2023) and a lovely grassed area to relax on too. We also love to play Bocce down by the pool too.

As with most places in Italy, there is no pool fence, so please take care of your little ones.

Please note: minimum age to rent the villa is 25. Thanks.

Guest access
Villa Caicresce is all yours. No-one to bother your private enjoyment. (Except for the occasional and very discrete visit by the gardener and pool maintenance team to keep the pool sparkling!).

As Caicresce is a country-side location, you will definitely need a car to get to the villa and into town for supplies, restaurants and coffee! Plenty of parking onsite, and only a few km from the closest amenities.

Our wonderful hospitality manager, Angela will meet you on arrival, take your details for registration with the Commune, show you around and then leave you to it.

She is available throughout your stay at any time should you have any questions while you are here. She can also arrange some wonderful local experiences for you - wine tasting, cooking courses, horse-riding, for example.

Other things to note
Villa Caicresce is a 5 bedroom stone farmhouse with five ensuite bathrooms. A few metres away, there is a free-standing guest-house (the old barn) with 2 extra bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, living space and kitchen. Perfect for the kids, or for your brother with young kids who needs a bit of extra space (well, that’s how we use it!).

The villa has high speed, satellite internet, which makes it the perfect place to remote work. Why not change your home base for a month or 2? Contact us for special long term (over 2 weeks, excluding high season) rates.

The pool is set slightly away from the Villa - with a stunning view. As with most places in Italy, there is no pool fence, so please take care of your little ones.

Should you require additional linen changes (fresh linen is provided at the commencement of your stay) or some housekeeping help during your stay, please contact us and we can arrange a quote. Additional charges will be paid in cash directly to the villa manager.

We have been villa renters for many years and know exactly what it takes for a wonderful villa holiday. Our intention is to share this beautiful place with others like us - we’d love to share it with you!

Check-in day is Saturday, weekly rentals only. Outside high season, other check-in days and duration may be available. Please contact us for more information.
