Nestled in the Otway bushland there's endless places to explore, from delicious foodie spots to hiking/biking trails - the Old Beechy Rail Trail runs right by it and you can walk all the way to Colac or Laver's Hill! We have everything you could need for a fun and unforgettable stay with loved ones and we don't discriminate against furry friends 🐶

The space
This huge barn-style home is on three acres of bushland, with plenty of parking.
It features four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (three of which are newly-renovated) with all bedrooms having its own split system heating and cooling.
There are three queen bedrooms and a bedroom featuring two bunks (one which has a double bed at the bottom), with an optional fold out single bed.
The kitchen is recently-renovated and has a large Smeg oven and stovetop, perfect for cooking big group meals; a double fridge, microwave, toaster, air fryer, kettle and new Breville coffee machine.
The 10-seater indoor dining table space is located in the centre of the home.
The vast lounge has a large TV, powerful woodfire and leather lounges.
There's a further two lounge areas, one by the pool table and another by the doors to the patio.
Enjoy a games cupboard filled with modern and classic games, with tennis rackets available to use at the near-by courts and a pool table with snooker also an option.
The patio features another large dining table and BBQ.
We also have a chicken coop with six chickens, and guests are welcome to collect and use those eggs daily.
New: we have just set up Bush Barn Bees. The hive is located far away from the main building, but enquire after booking if you wish to check it out.

Guest access
There's plenty of parking onsite, with limited undercover parking.

The house is single storey, however there is one step up into each of the bedrooms and kitchen areas.

Other things to note
If you wish to have extra guests come and stay or have keen campers or caravaners amongst your guests who may wish to set up a camp, please enquire within as we are able to accommodate some requests, with an additional fee applicable.

The house it set up for 11 guests, additional fold out beds and trundles are available at an additional cost.

We currently have a staircase located in the middle of the hallway. It is part of a future renovation and not to be accessed by guests.

Neighborhood highlights

A large children’s playground, a lovely creek and short loop bush walk, as well as large walking trail and tennis courts are all close to the handy-positioned home.
The property is a 15-minute drive to Colac where this is major supermarkets as well as plenty of pubs - including the famous Piano Bar - restaurants, cafes, fast-food and shopping. It is also a beautiful one-hour walk along the rail trail to Geillbrand which has a gorgeous local store and cafe Gellibrand River Store.
If walking is not your thing, it's a 5-minute drive to delicious cafe-quality coffee! Kawarren means echidna and you will often see plenty of echidnas, koalas and plenty of bird life - if you know where to look!
