With far reaching views of the High Street and the surrounding countryside, this spacious 2 bed, 2 bath is the perfect setting for your visit to Rye.

The property benefits from high ceilings, large original Georgian windows, a traditional kitchen with a dining table for 6, a spacious lounge and access to a hidden rooftop garden with views over Rye's ancient rooftops.

The space
The Brontë Wing at The Apothecary is prominently positioned on the corner of the High Street and East Street in the heart of the medieval citadel. The ideal base for exploring this ancient towns cobbled streets, independent restaurants, quirky boutique shops, antique stores and art galleries together with the surrounding areas of natural beauty.

The Brontë Wing is housed in the Grade II* iconic Apothecary House. The property retains traditional features complemented by contemporary design.

Step off East Street through the large original Georgian door into the communal hallway with stairs leading you to the apartment. This 2 bedroom, 2 en-suite duplex apartment consists of a private door opening to a hallway, leading to a generous traditional kitchen with modern appliances and a large dining table. The spacious sitting room features comfortable sofas, smart TV with Netflix access and plenty of storage space. The iconic large curved windows, a feature of our Grade II* listing, overlooking the medieval Conduit Hill and High Street. The perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee and watch the world go by. This floor also includes a cloakroom and utility cupboard with washer/dryer.

Up the staircase you will find two large bedrooms and a bookshelf filled with books to enjoy during your stay. The first generous bedroom consists of a bedroom suite, built-in wardrobe, large smart TV with Netflix access, super-king bed with en-suite shower, basin and WC. The second master bedroom contains a bedroom suite, king sized bed, large smart TV with Netflix access, clothes storage and stunning views over Rye from the curved window. This room also includes an en-suite with a bath and shower attachment, basin and a WC.

The traditional kitchen has all the amenities you could need for your stay including all crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, kettle and toaster, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, gas hob and double oven with heated drawer.

The lounge and both bedrooms have HD Smart TV's with Netflix access. We also have free high speed wifi throughout the property. All bed linen and towels are provided.

The hidden gem communal rooftop garden is accessed via a double glass door from the communal hallways. Guests have access to the garden with ample seating, tables and views over Rye's rooftops, including St Marys Church and Rye Town Hall.
