Some info has been automatically translated.
Aphrodite Studio is part of a traditional Cycladic house with an elevated view of the seaport of Adamas, built by Cretan refugees in 1860. It has since undergone significant improvements, with all modern conveniences such as electricity, running water, a modern-day toilet, and a kitchen. It still maintains its Cycladic character, with high ceilings and a sturdy, wooden roof. It is ideal for 2 people.

The space
The studio includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a small kitchen with stove, microwave oven, and all necessary appliances and utensils, and a modern bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink with hot water. There is an air-conditioning unit and a ceiling fan. A baby cot may be added with prior arrangement.

One of the main advantages of Auntie's House is the beautiful, elevated view of the seaport of Adamas, its quiet location, and a large terrace in front strewn with unique, flat "psaroplakes" stones from Sifnos. A long time before sundown, the entire house including the terrace is under shade, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful view.

The beautiful, tamarisk tree-lined Lagada beach is just a short walk away.

Street parking should be available in the neighborhood.

Internet access is limited, provided via a Wi-Fi router via cell coverage.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire studio.

Auntie's House shares its front gate with another property, but has its own terrace and private entrance. It shares a wall and the terrace with the Persephone, a newly-renovated studio by the same proprietor.

Other things to note
Auntie's house is being renovated and will be ready in April 2025. It may not appeal to persons with kinetic difficulties, as guests need to climb up (or down) several stairs in order to get to it. That's the price one has to pay for being in a quiet neighborhood.

It is possible to access Auntie's House by car/moped and then walking down a few steps, but most guests choose to just negotiate the stairs from the port. There are 48 stairs from the port to the upper street level, then 15 more stairs to Cafe Mikro, and 33 more stairs to Auntie's House.

Auntie's House shares its front yard gate with another property, but has its own terrace and private entrance. It shares a wall with another property, the Persephone Studio, and the host's residence.

Neighborhood highlights

Aphrodite Studio is situated on the main hill of Adamas, a quiet residential neighborhood with an elevated view of the seaport of Adamas. There are two bars nearby that feature tasteful music, never too loud, and the streets are far enough from the house so guests won't be bothered by noise.
