Welcome to The Anderson Premises! You couldn't possibly conjure up anything more quintessential, coastal outport Newfoundland living, than the feeling you get, the moment you enter this seaside home. It’s been top to bottom renovated in 2023, but we took special care to preserve its original feel. It’s stylized and updated to reflect a “hip Nan”, who lives to welcome you to her warm and inviting home.

The space
The home sits proudly atop a granite knob. From every south side window view, you have the spellbinding scenery of Newfoundland coastal life. There is loads of natural light in the home. We are one of the last houses at the end of a dead end road. It’s beautifully quiet, and undisturbed here. There is lots of front lawn area outside, to sit in one of the lawn chairs, which we provide. Sunsets are in full view from here. On the inside, we have carefully selected linens and furnishings to curate a cozy environment for you to nestle into. So many of our pieces hearken back to styles and colours and textures of time before. The main level kitchen and living room, have been opened up a bit, to allow an easy flow from one space to the other. There’s a gorgeous dining alcove off the kitchen, that seats 6ppl. A laundry room off the main porch, also holds a 1/2 bathroom, and this space is also designed to provide well for drying gear, after whatever the days adventure’s held. The upstairs is the sleeping quarters, as well as a full bathroom, with tub. Three bedrooms; two bedrooms with Queen bed and a small bedroom, ideally suited for children, with a twin over double bunk bed. Each bedroom has its own closet, and there is a linen closet just off the bathroom.

The entire home is yours to enjoy the privacy and enjoyment of throughout your stay. Since this property is also a place our Family frequently comes to spend time at, there are baskets in the closets which contain a few of our own things. Aside from that, we’ve taken special care to make sure the home is free of any clutter or personal items.
