Sweetcombe View is located on our East Devon dairy farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the Sid Valley. We have a wealth of nature around us with beautiful hedgerows and regularly see a variety of wild birds including buzzards, woodpeckers and owls as well as deer, badgers and foxes. Well worth bringing your binoculars!
Sidbury village is located just over a mile away in the valley and has an excellent butchers / village shop which is open seven days a week and the Red Lion Pub. The popular Hare and Hounds pub is just outside Sidbury and renowned for its carveries.
Our nearest town is Sidmouth, about 5 miles away and known for its timeless beauty, independent shops and eateries and beautiful beaches.
We are well located to access many beaches along the Jurassic Coast from the sandy beach and watersports at Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Branscombe, Beer, Seaton and through to fossil hunting at Lyme Regis.
The donkey sanctuary is only a short drive for us too.
