The space
This beautifully updated home provides room to gather, dine and cook, with plenty of privacy and quiet. Conveniently located near Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, and Cheyenne. Our country location offers views of the sunrise, open pastures and fields, the horses, goats, and barn--and of course the Rocky Mountain range to the west. It is decorated in a rustic, friendly, ranch style that feels like you're right at home. 2 queen-sized rooms and one with 2 twin beds make this the perfect get away for a family or group traveling together. Think retreat, kid-friendly vacation, or business travel. Plenty of quiet and privacy with access to the farm and livestock, singing birds, and walking paths.
This location is ideal for visitors traveling in the Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, and Cheyenne areas as well as to the Pawnee Grasslands, and is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from I-25 and just minutes from Hwy 14 and 85.
The kitchen is built for entertaining with large cupboards, china hutch, and long buffet situated along the sunny south wall. It is fully stocked with dishware, silverware, Keurig and drip coffee makers, pots and pans, and cooking essentials. Wi-Fi, KitchenAid mixer, and laundry room are just a few of the included amenities.
Just outside, enjoy the outdoor spaces for meals or morning coffee, or to enjoy the sunrise or sunsets. Nearby are happy goats, chickens, and 2 horses named Tennessee and Roanoke.
Situated on 18 acres of pasture with wetlands and a waterway, the farm is in the countryside west of Eaton overlooking the Rocky Mountain range. Walks around the property reveal the charm of country life. The farm is located alongside the Great Western Trailway that connects Eaton to Severance and is open to pedestrians and bicyclists.
Nearby towns and cities offer many opportunities for fine dining, golfing, recreation facilities, water sports, skiing, hiking, antiquing, and shopping. Chimney Park and The Hearth restaurants in Windsor are owned by one of Colorado’s top rated chefs. Eaton has a full-service grocery store and most conveniences from gas to fast food and booze with an old town flavor. Fort Collins is a trendy, vibrant city with an array of award-winning microbreweries. Greeley offers a slower feel with city conveniences, local breweries, civic center, rec facilities and the historic Stampede Rodeo.
At the property, the owners do their best to live sustainably, raising healthy and happy goats, chickens, and assorted farm animals along with flowers, organic garden vegetables and native pasture grasses. Solar panels collect energy, and recycling and composting are encouraged. Fresh eggs, hand-burned spoons, aprons, Bento bags, cotton kitchen cloths, honey ambrosia, crabapple jelly, and more are also for sale.
This home and its individual rooms are perfect for families visiting students, visitors attending weddings, corporate stays for traveling professionals, artists and writers or anyone looking to have a relaxing Colorado country experience. The owners are onsite to address questions and offer a cup of coffee or tea, tours, or just a conversation.

You have exclusive access to the Ranch at Harmon Farms and yard. And to our 18 acres of country bliss which features a red barn, outbuildings, pastures, a garden, and livestock and wide open spaces.
Other things to note
Located just west of Eaton, Colorado. A simple short drive will get you to Fort Collins, Windsor, Severance, Timnath, Greeley. Just a bit further and you can be in Loveland or Cheyenne, Wyoming! These towns are meccas for brewery tours, bicycling, rodeos, music and festivals, movie theaters and golf courses, churches, the University of Northern Colorado or Colorado State University, restaurants including both local and chains, as well as many opportunities for outdoor experiences from hiking, biking, sports, PRCA and PBR events and so much more!! Easy access to Costco or Walmart.
