Mary is an excellent host. She responded in minutes, often in real time to any questions we had. She always had wonderful suggestions, and her knowledge of Lake Attilan’s villages is superb. We really appreciated her help. The house is a bird lovers dream. A large tree on the side of the huge picture windows is a bird magnet and we loved getting up early to watch and listen. When I sent her a picture of a bird, she responded with pictures of possible birds from a book, immediately. The view is fabulous! The house is tidy, clean and well supplied. San Marcos is such a chill place to stay. The stroll down to the boats is a pleasure and we enjoyed it immensely. This is a place we could return to easily.

A Tranquil Gem - Beautiful vista

We had a great stay at Augustus’ place. Taking the path along the water, it’s 5 min walk to the main pedestrian street of San Marcos. Place was spotless, and the view and entryway patio is awesome. There were some water issues of first days, heat and pressure, we let Augustus know and he was able to resolve quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

Stylish Lakefront Nature Haven with Superb Views

Wonderful, cosy wooden cabin in a beautiful position on Lake Atitlan. Neils was very helpful during the check-in process and Victor was on hand for any questions/issues during my stay (there weren't any). The location can't be beaten, very tranquil and tucked away next to a park. Note that you can only walk to the property, there is no direct road access up to it, which is definitely part of the appeal. The easiest way to walk into San Marcos is through the park but bear in mind that you'll need to pay 15 GTQ pp (at the time of writing) each day and it's inadvisable to try it at night as the ground is rough and there is no lighting. The more usual route is to walk a short way along the edge of the lake and then up a steep flight of steps. As others have noticed these steps are steep, but you get used to them if you take them slowly! I would strongly advise carrying a torch and take extra care if it has been raining as the steps can be slippery in places.

Jairo and Ashley were amazing hosts- very friendly helpful and generous. We had some complications with our arrival and they were incredibly kind and understanding. The house is very comfortable- the AC is a real plus for El Paredon. The rooftop space with the hammocks is the perfect place to unwind when it's too hot on the beach. There is tea/coffee/salt/oil aplenty which makes all the difference when you have a whole house to yourself. Everything you need is in walking distance and there are 2 bikes on the property. Thanks guys, we will be back for sure!

The apartment is very spacious and the two double beds in the room are very comfortable for a family of 3 or 4 people. Keep in mind that it does not have its own parking, but it is not a problem to find a place to park in the surrounding streets.

it is also very clean the kitchen is equipped and can be cooked. the bathroom is very good and the location is very close to the basilica. the only thing is that there is no big car but I leave it outside and there was no problem. neighborhood very safe. it was very enjoyable my stay

The location is excellent, the place is very spacious and comfortable. It was very clean, it matches the photos in the description and indeed because it is in a busy area, it makes the noise constant, but it doesn't cause a problem falling asleep.

Excellent place, very large, nice rooms, the entire apartment is very clean and nice, the location is ideal since it gets off in the elevator and the shopping center is located so it is accessible to go shopping or for food, I highly recommend it and the host is the best I have found in the app.

An excellent place !! Silvia's place is an excellent place, the condominium is very safe, very quiet, beautiful and cozy. You have to be clear that it is not directly in Antigua Guatemala, however it is about 10-15 minutes from the center of Antigua and Uber arrives very quickly. The house is very nice, cozy, it makes you feel at home, the rooms are nice, the bathrooms are clean and it has everything for you to cook, which was very helpful. There is a shopping plaza 1 km away that has everything you need. The pool area is quite comfortable to have a good time with the family and its terrace is amazing for something more private with your companions. I loved the house, I would definitely stay there again.
