Monthly Rentals in Grindon

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s beautiful Harewood Cottage. Set in stunning surroundings with its own little garden, the cottage was small but perfectly formed, offering everything we could possibly need for a long weekend away. We were welcomed with thoughtful touches – fresh milk, eggs, and croissants in the fridge, tea, coffee and jams ready to enjoy, plus a lovely bar of chocolate and a bottle of fizz with two glasses waiting in the lounge. The cottage was cosy and inviting and filled with scent. The bathroom was stocked with an ample supply of high-quality toiletries, and a full log basket, log burner and candles created a warm, romantic atmosphere. Grindon itself was the perfect base for exploring, with fantastic walks straight from the doorstep and a couple of great pubs just a short drive away. We would wholeheartedly recommend Harewood Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle – it was perfect! Thank you Julia!

The cottage was very very cosy and Annette is a fantastic host. Very friendly, amazing hospitality and going above and beyond for us during our stay. Location is great for hikes and being closer to nature, would definitely book again!

I loved my stay at Pru's cottage. Both Pru and Chris were welcoming and helpful. I also loved Swallow Barn; it felt like home right away, especially with the delicious local produce already in house when I arrived. The local walks and villages were beautiful. I hope I can come back and have some more cheese from Hartington, walk along the Dove River, and sip G&Ts with Pru & Chris at sunset.

We had a lovely stay at goatfell farm, the accommodation was lovely very peaceful and relaxing with lovely views great for having breakfast out on the patio. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this place.
