An ideal place to stay for a long weekend in the lakes. Perfect base for what we needed, and had everything you would need. Loved the fact that ordnance survey maps are provided - we made use of these.

Karen’s place is absolutely beautiful. Everything you could need for a relaxing break away. Bonus that it is accessible for a wheelchair user - this is so hard to find in a property of that size. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a break away in the Lakes.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here, fully met or expectations and hope to be back next year.

Clean and well equipped. There were some thoughtful touches like wine, beer and chocolate on our arrival which we weren't expecting. Jon was very responsive and resolved a minor heating issue within minutes by increasing the temperature setting on the radiators remotely. The house was very comfortable and quiet - perfect for our short break and a great base for exploring the Lakes. Although within a short walking distance from the house, the local pub was unfortunately a bit disappointing with a very limited and unimaginative menu.
