we loved our stay! perfect for what we needed. close to the canal for a stroll about to streach our legs after a long drive. we had the best nights sleep. will defo be back again!

We received a very warm welcome from Fiona when we arrived, the ‘check-in’ was smooth, clear and friendly and we immediately felt at home. The house is exceptional quality, located in a beautiful spot, drivable to local villages and also well located for easy motorway access. All rooms in the house are really well appointed with plenty of space for our family, including kids. We appreciated the little touches Fiona added, such as home baked goods, jams, eggs and chocolate. The house was perfect for our long weekend in the area, and we fully recommend this house to others - we would certainly like to return again.

Lovely cottage, comfortable and homely from the minute you walk through the door. Kitchen well stocked and shower was good especially the heated floor. Nice tv/ seating area for after a days hiking. Our dog loved the garden and exploring the surrounding hills. A couple of walks straight from the door. We visited Lady Bower and the B29 crash site both nice walks, but get there early as parking soon fills up. We are already looking for dates to rebook, as lots in the area to do and see.

Splendid stay at Susan’s place. A true experience of the countryside, the nearby towns were lovely. Susan was responsive and attended to our needs, the place was clean and we had a comfortable stay. The barn over looks a beautiful view. Perfect and would 100% recommend!

Excellent stay at a lovely cottage. Felt right at home sitting outside. Cottage has everything you need, comfy beds, nice bathroom. Very friendly hosts. Perfect!

Peter went above and beyond. collected us from town, as some of our party were a bit limited with mobility issues, (it is a steep hill to get to). Peter lit a fire for us on return. the barn was home from home, so lovely and cosy. plenty of space, great cooking facilities if needed. thank you Peter and Emma

Beautiful stay in the heart of Sale, close to all local amenities. The barn is equipped with everything you could want and more. The owners were lovely and incredibly friendly, they provided a detailed list of places you could want to visit and a map of Sale for extra guidance. Feels like a home away from home with all the amenities and a beautiful garden to explore and lounge in. The space is incredibly private and feels like you’re in your own world.

Thank you our family had a lovely stay in your house. The house was as listed. Lots of interesting activities for our 2 year old and also for the adults in the group. The kitchen was well equipped and provided everthing we needed. Hopefully we will come back again. The Alpacas in the nearby field were an added bonus!

We loved staying here. The surroundings were incredible. Peaceful, calm and cozy. A real gem!

A perfect house for a big group. We loved how spacious the rooms were and that they all had their own bathrooms. It was great that the double beds could be separated to twin beds as requested. The outdoor space was great with enough seating for everyone which meant we could sit out and enjoy the lovely weather. The whole house was spotless when we arrived, it's in a great location and within walking distance to The Malthouse which does an excellent breakfast.

Wow!! What an amazing stay we had at the Granary. The location is like a picture postcard, surrounded by fields of sheep and horses. Cliff the host was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed was so comfy (I’m 6’3 and get back ache but non from that bed) large bathroom and great shower. His 2 dogs Woody and Arthur were welcome visitors and we have had an amazing, peaceful and relaxing 9 days. Sitting outside watching the wildlife with no other noise was so tranquil and will definitely be back. Thanks Cliff and it’s a 10/10 from us :)

We had a great stay at Matthew's coach house. Everything was clean and nice put together when we arrived. Matthew is great in communication and gave us local recommendations like the pub. We even met Emily, his daughter, as she was working in the pub down the road. We felt very welcome and the house is just beautiful, surrounded by nature. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Top Barn was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was me and 11 of my closest friends celebrating my 30th birthday in style and we absolutely loved it. The place was kitted out, was easy to find, nice pubs in walking distance, and nice and private. Would definitely rebook 😊

We live in Australia and wanted a place close to our family to spend Xmas with. We stayed at Cliffs place for a month. It was absolutely beautiful. I was worried we’d find the large open space too cold for us Aussies but with the under floor heating it was always so comfortable. We had been dreaming of a roaring fire surrounded by snow and stunning views and that’s what we got. Cliff was always available for any questions and help and very friendly giving advice of local country walks and places to eat. I couldn’t recommend high enough we will definitely be back. We had a lovely weekend - the location is truly peaceful and relaxing and the instructions on how to get there were comprehensive and clear. The interior is comfortable and clean, we loved the mezzanine design which made it feel very cosy. There were thoughtful amenities and the kitchen was well equipped. Would be a great base for walking in the area and we'd love to have spent more time there, highly recommended!
