“Kate’s place was amazing! From the thoughtful touches of having delicious eggs from her chickens at check in to the beautiful grounds it was all I wanted in a Cotswolds holiday and more! Perfect spot for quick day trips as well as a comfy place to hibernate a bit if that’s what you are looking for. The town is small so it was great to just pop down for a walk when the sun would come out. All around a great time that we will never forget!”

“We had a lovely week over the Christmas holiday at Anita’s place. She was very easy going and responsive, and the cottage is very quaint and cozy with a large yard, and next to the pub. All was exactly as described. Very family friendly with toys, games, DVDs, high chair, baby gates, and there was even a decorated tree for us over Xmas!”
"A beautiful home in a beautiful part of the world" Set halfway between the iconic market towns of Burford and Bourton on the Water, this large, luxurious house has extensive views over the rolling hills of the Windrush Valley. The charming village of Great Rissington has an excellent pub, many local walks and easy access to the main Cotswold highlights. The house is 8 miles from Kingham (direct rail connection to London Paddington) and Daylesford Organic Farm and 9 miles from Soho Farmhouse.
“A lovely home which slept 3 couples in 3 large bedrooms comfortably. 4 of us shared a bathroom while the other master bedroom had an en-suite, there was also a third downstairs bathroom. Exactly as described and depicted by the photos. Very clean, everything we needed including a very nice welcome pack - we felt at home. A very quiet area with one great pub ( The Lamb) 2 minutes walk away with an excellent restaurant. Also a close drive to other beautiful Cotswold villages including Bourton on the water. Fabulous walks in the vicinity. Thanks to the hosts - Nigel, Lenka and Oliver for a great New Years stay.”
