Waterfront vacation rentals in Grad Kaštela

Eva/Susan, were wonderful! Despite being booked, she offered to store our luggage when we finished our 7 day boat tour of Croatia. Susan stored our bags from 10-2 and checked us in early. The apt had a GREAT kitchen with everything, coffee, tea, etc. Two bathrooms for our 5 ppl, one shower was tiny, but the other huge, so we used that. We left early to get our kidz to the airport and they let us store our bags until later. Only negative is no living room/couch/chairs to "hang out". The kitchen is big with a big table and maybe if it was sideways you could fit some comfy chairs and create a "living room". It's a short walk to AWESOME beaches for swimming (10 mins, lovely) and it's situated in a lovely neighborhood with fruit trees. Bring earplugs as it's in a very LOUD flight path because it's 6 mins from the airport. A big plus for those wanting proximity. The property is on a quiet street and is great but prepare for really loud planes, though totally worth it because so nice.

The apartment was perfect for our short stay, very close to Split airport, to allow us to return our hire car and be ready for our early morning flight from Split airport. The apartment was well presented and matched the photos.

Ante was a wonderful host and his well located apartment was just beautiful. We arrived to Split airport very late and Ante was there to collect us which was very much appreciated. This spotless apartment had everything we wanted and was located near the beach, bars, restaurants, playground, shops and bus stop. We couldn't have asked for a better place!

Dani is great host.he explains everything thing to you about the stay and beyond. He is welcoming.He got some drinks and local wine for us to welcome us. Unfortunately I don’t drink. Stay is approx 20-25 mins from split city Center depending on the traffic. We were with car so easily accessible. Lots of paid parking space available but also have 2-3 open free space to park depending on your luck. Good view out of the window and balcony. Room has metal bad which makes sound when you move on it. Other then that all good.

Spacious, neat, and clean. Huge patio with a seaview. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to use the jacuzzi there because of unstable weather during our stay. The property is away from Split's Old Town by 20-30 minutes' drive - good for us as we drove and there is a lot of parking space in the courtyard. Marijana is a kind and responsive superhost. She recommended a nice restaurant for our farewell dinner in Croatia. Food was superb there and a discount was appreciated. Overall a comfortable stay and a wonderful experience!

Very clean apartment fitted out for all our needs. We were a party of 5 guests and worked well for us. Lovely location at sea front. Restaurants and supermarket all very close. Close to airport too which was what we wanted. All in excellent value for money.

Great property and perfect location from split. Quiet but close enough to town to explore by short Bolt ride. Lovely restaurants nearby within walking distance and great view of ocean. Home was clean and plenty of room for 4 guests. Hope to have opportunity to stay again.

This was truly one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. The unit was very clean, exceptionally well maintained, and offered outstanding amenities – particularly the kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything one might need. The location is excellent, directly on a beautiful white pebble beach, with a spacious terrace offering a nice view on the ocean. Our host was extremely courteous and thoughtful, surprising us with several welcome gifts during our stay. The availability of a private garage was another notable advantage. The only minor downside was the beach-bar nearby, which could be a bit noisy at night, especially on weekends. Nonetheless, our overall experience was outstanding, and I would not hesitate to return.

This house is amazing. I spent great time with my daughters. Just a few steps from beach, but since sea was cold in spring we enjoyed private pool. Kitchen is full equipped, and beds, even sofa extremly comfortable. Local food snack was delightfull.

As described. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Contains everything you need. Friendly hosts, wine and cookies as gifts.

Just returned home from a perfect week in Kaštela with my family. Vinko was very friendly and welcoming and met us upon arrival. He sent us over lots of information on different places to visit and answered all our questions regarding the local area. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed. My son especially enjoyed the pool & hot tub! It was a perfect location, 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to the airport and a short walk to local shops, beach bars, pharmacy etc. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing break with everything in walking distance.

We loved Helena's place. We were 2 families with 4 children under 11, so this house was just perfect! The pool was ideal for keeping out the baking Croatian sun, with lots of sunbeds. There is an outdoor kitchen, as well as a pristine and brand new inside kitchen, fully equipped so eating al fresco was very easy. The rooms housed us all more than adequately, with the double rooms with ensuites facing the sea, and the smaller kid's rooms at the back. The house is located a few minutes walk to a good local restaurant, a cute little beach that didn't get too busy and an excellent beach bar. A big plus was the closeness to the airport so you can genuinely just walk to the house in 10 mins. We didn't hire a car and just took Helena's recommended taxi firm to visit the local town of Trogir. We also did a days boat trip and they picked us up from the beach close to us, so no travelling required. If you're after a quiet and relaxing week, Helena's place is perfect!

We had a fabulous stay at Marina’s apartments, everything was spotlessly clean and it was really well equipped. Marina was exceptionally helpful & responded quickly and allowed us to stay past our checkout time as our return flight was early evening. We would definitely return.

Senada was verry helpful, responded to any queries/issues extremely quick. The place was spotless and she was very accommodating. Senada and her husband were the best hosts. They had food waiting for us when we arrived and also drove us to the local supermarket to to get some food. The house was stunning, the surroundings and views were beautiful. The pool was amazing and refreshing to cool down when it was hot. We had such a lovely time, and would highly recommend. We will be back in the future for sure :) thank you both for our lovely stay!

The apartment is a short walk into the heart of the old town in Split with a great view out onto the Adriatic. It is a good size space for 3/4 people with everything you could need. Klajdi was a great host. *Outside of the apartment is a construction site but this did not take away from the view nor did it impact our stay greatly.

Great location, only a 15 to 20 min car journey to either Split or Trogir. Lovely home right next to the water. Perfect for a quiet getaway, but easy travel to some of the more touristy areas.

This apartment was really a surprise! The apartment was really a lovely place to stay. To say it was spotless is an understatement - it was so clean that it looked like we were the first guests to stay there. The view was fabulous and exactly as the photographs showed. It overlooked the harbor, giving an extra treat of sunrises and sunsets. It even had it's own small balcony. Although I was never able to meet our host Toni, he was very quick to answer all my texts! He even offered to meet us at the apartment late in the evening to assist me in getting settled. Talk about above and beyond! Anybody lucky enough to rent this apartment will not be disappointed! Thank you Toni for making my stay the best of a 3 week trip! You deserve 10 stars in all review categories!!!

The Studio flat was really great with everything you need for a holiday. It is very close to Split airport so only 10 minuits by taxi. Enough distance so that there is hardly any aircraft noise. It is literally across the road from the beach. All the beaches have fine slightly sharp gravel so take beach shoes. The Island of Trogir is a 10 minuite bus journey ride away that stops practically outside the door. You can also easily bus to many little beaches with changing places and showers. There are Water sports, buses, water taxis close by and a ferry to Split. The host is really nice, always contactable, very helpful and full of local knowledge. I cannot recommend the wonderful host and her family enough in this perfect location.

Sara was very helpful and accommodating, even with a massive flight delay. The person touches were very much appreciated. This is a lovely place to stay.

Excellent location—just a 5-minute walk to the Old Town, yet in a quiet, modern area. The apartment is contemporary, well-equipped, and includes every amenity you might need. The private parking garage is a rare and valuable find in Split. Bruno was incredibly accommodating, meeting us early in the morning—well before check-in—and offering great recommendations for restaurants and local activities. Highly recommended!

I stayed for a month in April and had a lovely experience. Beautiful place in a peaceful village. It’s less touristy than some of the other Kaštelas and the family were Brilliant hosts. Sunday dinners was probably the best surprise!

Extremely helpful host - always responds very quickly. Very clean and everything as specified. You can reach the city and the harbor very easily on foot. The parking situation is tense, but we have always found one... there is free parking around the property. The kitchenette is very small, but has everything you need. We were also able to cook a little something. There is a very large refrigerator and also a freezer. You can often hear the residents stomping from above and also the noise from the street, but that was not a problem for us and especially for our 1.5-year-old daughter when sleeping. A third stool/chair might be a valuable addition. Furnishings and decoration were very tasteful - we were very excited and would come back.
