We enjoyed our time at Maria's apartment. It's a two-floor house with two apartments on each floor. Each apartment had a separate entry, so we saw people living upstairs. No doubt, the main treasure of this place - the view from the terrace. We spent long evenings sitting on the terrace watching the sunset. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I stayed for a week in Eirini's place as I was in town for a wedding. The room was rustic and charming and was perfectly clean. Location was excellent, right off the main square. Eirini was lovely and very flexible, as I arrived late. She even changed my linen and towels midway through my stay, which was a lovely treat. The homemade biscuits and sweets and bottle of raki left in the room was very generous. Wifi worked great as I had to work while I was staying. I would highly recommend this place to anybody staying in Archanes looking for an authentic Greek place to stay!

It all worked out fine. The apartment is in a good spot in a quiet area, nearby has everything you'll need to do. The welcome was water in the fridge and some fruit. The ice cubes in the freezer were the advantage. The host was informative and very helpful. I'll pick it up again. Thank you very much Mr. Aris for everything.

The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood. It has a bakery next door. Nearby are the center and shops like jambo, supermarket.....etc. The owners are impeccable, communicative and have the apartment neat and full equipped. IT has UP TO 2 bathrooms, washer, ironing board......everything you need. They don't make cuts like in other places that have you the absolute essentials. Blankets, towels, detergents, drying rack, healthy supplies, everything you need is already there. Even sweets are waiting for you when you arrive. We came to Heraklion for an operation in the palli and the apartment is quite close. Ten minutes by car or about fifteen by bus.

Linda is a very helpful, generous and friendly landlady. Communication was always quick and helpful. The apartment is exactly as described and perfectly located for excursions to Heraklion, Lassithi plateau or the beach. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation.

We felt comfortable in the apartment. Communication with Nikos went very well. Downtown can be reached quickly on foot, the airport with the local bus lines as well.

Antonia and Stella's house is very convenient and really very clean. There is a beautiful view of Heraklion Bay. And the surroundings are quiet. The information for check-in and check-out is spotless, we arrived directly. Rodia is 15’ from the port of Heraklion, so very convenient for excursions in this city. Ideal accommodation and well located, very close to the airport so very convenient for a start or end of stay. The house is located in a quiet area, it is very well isolated phonetically. You will hardly hear the planes take off. Perfect for 4-5 people. Helen was lovely and answered any questions we had. I would recommend it 100%

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. If you aren’t sure if you should stay here or not, I promise you will love the place. It’s beautiful and the host was there to help me and answer questions. He even came to meet me when I got lost so I could follow him to the house! The inside of the house is absolutely gorgeous. The host left us inside enough food, snacks, and beverages to last a week, which was such a pleasant surprise. I recommend renting a car as access to the city is not within walking distance but even in the neighborhood there are two small restaurants and a little convenience store practically right outside the gates of the house. Heraklion is fun and Crete is a beautiful place to rent a car and visit sites. Even balos beach is doable in one day from there if you plan ahead. Then there are other beaches much closer and easier like Voulisma to the east. Or you can take a beautiful drive through the mountains and eat a great with w a view. Much to do! House is perfect!

wonderful stay!

The Rustic Nook was the perfect place for us on our last 4 days on Crete. It was close to Agios Nikolaos where we spent several of those days exploring and enjoying the food. We went on a few of the many hiking trails in the area. Limnes itself was charming. A local taverna, Christinis, was a highlight with the friendly staff and great food. Amanda’s place was so comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. Amanda was always quick to respond. We could not have asked for a better place.

Very nice villa, very functional and well located in relation to the beach, restaurants and supermarket in the village. Please note that only one of the two bedrooms is air conditioned.

the place was very nice and Maria was very hospitable. Her mom gave us delicious homemade cookies. The house looked as if someone is still living there. there were personal photos and what seemed like personal items. looked a lot like a "home". We had a lovely time. thank you Maria.

The apartment is as shown in the pictures and was great option for me as I was staying a month there. Kleoniki was very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Sofia and her father Georgios' apartment - we particularly enjoyed the 2 balconies and the great location for the city centre. Good view over similar height buildings all around on three sides (5 floors with small lift). There was a delay replying to messages 2wks before (important as wanted to confirm they knew we were due to arrive late) but once that was sorted Georgios was lovely, meeting and chatting to us even though we arrived at midnight and providing a baby pram and cot. The apartment was as described and well looked after, though some doors were hard to shut, both bedroom black-out blinds bit stuck (so light) and some fittings from the 70s. It would have been good to have some bottled water on arrival (as we didn't want to drink tap water) but lots of condiments, shower gel, washing machine etc provided. A few mosquitos, initially none, after we watered the plants (in Oct) but good aircon in 3 rooms. It was good value and I would book again.

We enjoyed our quick stay at this lovely studio. It’s in a quiet residential area that’s 20 mins walking distance from downtown. This place has everything you need- we particularly enjoyed playing UNO with some raki provided by the host. The check in was also super smooth. Would recommend to anyone passing through the city!

Eleni is an amazing host! I stayed for almost three months for a research stay in her apartment and she and her family were more than accommodating and made me feel as if I was home. The apartment itself is as described, close to the city centre and very well-connected. Plus, there is the best dessert shop in whole of Crete about two minutes away on foot :)
