My husband and I loved our stay at this house. It checked all our boxes. It was clean, spacious, had a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and a barbecue grill. It also came with lots of personality. We ate breakfast at the local country store/cafe called Sherwood Forest most days. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Truly a magical spot. We’ve stayed at many unique Airbnbs, and this one is up there as a favorite. It’s so peaceful and beautiful; the walk down makes it feel like you are truly remote and alone. The screened porch is perfect for listing to the stream at all points of the day. The cabin itself is furnished in a quirky and cozy way, and the beds are very comfortable. The full kitchen had everything needed. The host was super friendly and responsive. We would absolutely would recommend to others!

Very rustic, private, peaceful kind of like a camp but with air conditioning and excellent wifi. Bald eagle sat over the lake outside. Kayaks were fun. Tons of great hikes and historical things to see. Town of Great Barrington and Sheffield have great antiquing both high and low end. I would go back any time.

This is a wonderful space, lots of natural light, comfort and Shayla thought of everything for the kitchen and bathroom, which includes a handy washer and dryer. I felt so at home here and the location was steps away from coffee shops and a local bookstore, as well as a short drive to Tanglewood. Shayla was always available as needed, but also gave plenty of space. She was a superb host! I hope to return again soon!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly like in the photos. It felt very clean and new for also staying in a quiet rural area. Michael was very communicative and helpful— even down to warning about some potholes on the road! It was a great relaxing getaway from the city and we enjoyed the house and area very much. For such a small space it had everything you could need and more.

The space is very clean. I stayed 2 nights and brought my dog with me. The only thing that I was surprised about was that there wasn't a door to the bedroom area. I had looked at the pictures and assumed the door I saw was to the bedroom but it was a closet. The bed area is separated by a partial wall but not an actual door. Something to keep in mind if you have additional people sleeping on the pull out couch.

The space is luxurious and stunning even more beautiful than the photos, so thoughtfully designed and really helped us feel at home at once. Matt and Sarah were so helpful whenever we had any questions. We had such a relaxing stay and feel so grateful to have been able to enjoy the space!

We enjoyed very much our (unfortunately short) stay at Katie's cottage. It's a very cosy place and I felt that it looked much better in real than in the photos. The cottage that makes you feel at home instantly. It's very clean and all the products available and services are great. It is very conveniently located between all the main attractions areas and close to all the hikes. Katie was very responsive and communicative. We hope to come back soon!
