The apartment was amazing. I appreciated the Brita water in the refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. The area is very walkable and near the Struble trail. The host was very responsive and kept the stairs and walkway shoveled when there was snow. I appreciated the coffee and tea options.

We absolutely loved staying in Honeybrook. It was peaceful, comfortable and Joshua and the owner dealt quickly with any issues we had. The WiFi had an issue when we arrived and we were doing a course which we needed to use the internet for. It was handled within an hour of us asking and the owner of the house came over in person. Another time an opossum had died right by the porch and they took care of it within 15 minutes. The house is in Amish Country and being surrounded by Amish neighbors was something we really enjoyed.

I love this place. I will absolutely try to rent again. I only got to be there for one evening so I’d like to spend more time, to enjoy just how peaceful it is. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The space was so comfortable and clean. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Thank you!

I still have no words besides, God is good and I’m incredibly grateful for Susanne and her lovely place that we stumbled upon. My husband and I booked another rental in downtown Lancaster and to say the least it wasn’t good. We checked in there around 6 pm that day, and I messaged Susanne at 7 pm to see if we could come as soon as possible, we were 3 hours away from home, so worried we wouldn’t find anything.. Susanne had everything freshened up in 40 mins and we drove over. The space is extremely homey. And honestly the whole area is a fresh breath of air. Easy drive to downtown Lancaster. You’re surrounded by lots of Amish life and beautiful views. The bathroom was amazing. Bed was comfortable. Living room was cozy. Susanne thought of everything possible when adding charm and coziness to this space. Price point is amazing. I could go on! We met John on the way out and he was extremely friendly and kind to us. We will book again! :)

My adult daughter, her friend from grad school, and I recently stayed on the farm. We drove up to Pennsylvania as an end-of-exams trip and to attend Pennhurst Paracon. The farm was an absolute oasis, ridiculously beautiful and quiet. Annie, our host, graciously provided us with eggs, milk, and veggies fresh from the garden. The house was spotless and roomy enough for the 3 of us to have our own private spaces. Annie gave me a tour of the farm complex, which was just incredible. I had so many questions about Amish life, and she and her husband answered them so patiently. I learned so much from this cultural exchange. I would stay here again in an instant, and, in fact, I’m already thinking about when I can come back with my husband. I’m so thankful that we were able to stay on the farm. It did my heart and soul a world of good.

My mother and I really enjoyed staying here. It was very quiet and restful. We had all the appliances, etc. we needed to prepare our meals. Marcyanna was a gracious host. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to the area.

**THE HOUSE HAS NO TVs** which wasn’t a problem for us, but I felt like that should be more obvious in the description. It’s a spotless house and very very quiet. Lots of wildlife and fantastic places to sit outside. The inside was roomy and beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was available, coffee, extra blankets/pillows and towels. Communication and check in was a breeze. This was one of our all time favorite rentals!

Tim and Sarah were exceptional hosts. Considering we just moved here from CA and needed a place to stay for a week. They were very welcoming and quick to answer any questions. Their private apartment was beautiful and very comfortable for our little family of four. Can’t say enough good things about this listing or the hosts!
