Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Glarus Nord

For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

Erica's house is very spacious and clean. The atmosphere is peaceful. Patrick (her son) was very helpful during our stay.

A very nice townhouse. A mix between modern and classic. You can quickly walk to the shopping house, the Becker, the train...etc. In the house, everything is at your disposal: coffee, tea, music, TV, blankets, up to the umbrella. There are even toys, bowls, blankets, and loungers available for the pets. (of course, you replace the used things again. It's a matter of honor) We will always be happy to vacation there (if free). We were warmly received and it was a pleasant stay. We were 2 families and had plenty of space. Our dog was also with us and was occasionally in the garden. Fortunately, it was also good weather, a lot of snow and a 30-minute drive is the ski slope for families Bodele-Schwarzenberg. Was really wonderful weather and if you are a starting skier, this slopes are more than enough. The house is perfect for families and has everything you'll need. The beds are good and otherwise it is neat. Thank you Andrea for your hospitality.

This is our second time staying here, because the first time was so pleasant. It's a very convenient get-away for us (two families) and the place is very pleasant to accommodate 4 adults and 4 kids. There was lots of great stuff to keep the kids entertained and the set up was also good for our 1 year old (crib, change table, and chair). Looking forward to hopefully do it again next year!

it was beautiful. great, quaint cabin. Maria, the host, also very accommodating and helpful. the driveway was challenging with snow; without four-wheel drive we couldn't get up anymore. Maria's husband was quickly there and pulled us up with the excavator. Of course, a highlight for the little ones;-)

Great, centrally located studio in Flims, which is very stylishly furnished and very clean. Roland is also easily accessible at all times and very friendly. We had a great time!

We spent a very nice weekend in the house, which was actually not much like a Swiss chalet, but had all the amenities that are described. The best part for us was the extremely well equipped kitchen and the fantastic balcony/terrace with lake and mountain view. Thanks again for the good weekend!

If you are looking for a cozy place to stay in I 100% recommend. The place was clean, organized, and filled with all the necessary things that one needs for living. The hosts were always nice and ready to answer any questions. Thank you so much! We had an amazing experience!

A perfect place to stay in a calm and quit environment. We used it especially to discover the environment (mountains) for hiking and snow activities. You’re better off renting this apartment then stay in a hotel room. Your own environment when you return from a day of walking instead of just a (mostly) small hotel room. The host is there when you need him, but honestly, we didn’t had direct contact during our stay because everything is clear and well communicated. When we booked the apartment Gerhard was answering our questions quickly about “what to do” and “where to stay for Sylvester night”… We can definitely recommend this place.

It was a lovely family Christmas! The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The panorama from the living room to the lake and the mountains is amazing. The owner is very responsive, always responding quickly to messages. And an important moment for us - our youngest daughter forgot her phone in the apartment, and we discovered the loss only a few days later. The owner resolved this issue very quickly, the phone was even charged so that we could see its location. We are definitely ready to return here, with pleasure!

Besides the breathtaking surroundings, and the modern, hygienic and fully equipped apartment, what we really appreciate is that Pius respects our privacy and gives us 100% freedom, but at the same time he is very helpful and answering message in minutes. Nicole has thought of everything and has taken care of every small detail to ensure a wonderful stay! A welcome gift of chocolates and local honey were provided and really appreciated it. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pans, utensils, drink ware and dinner ware. Paper towels, sponges, soap, cleaning supplies, spices, salt, pepper, sugar and more were all provided. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels which is something unique and very much appreciated. Nicole was responsive to every message and was even provided us with converter plugs because we forgot Switzerland has different outlets than Austria and Germany. The apartment was just as pictured with plenty of space and comfortable accommodations. The apartment is on the lower level of the house and has a terrace that opens to a lovely flat yard. We didn't hear any noise at all from the upstairs or from the road. The house is a short distance (1-2 min drive or 15 min drive) to downtown Flims. Highly recommend!

Jessica and Stefan's crunchy cottage completely enchanted us – and enchanted us! We felt like we were in fairytale land; the atmosphere in this Bijou is wonderful and leads into the past. There is everything you need – and every item is carefully read and adorned. The house is lovingly furnished and a feast for the eyes. There are a lot of interesting details to discover. Jessica and Stefan are wonderful hosts; accommodating, flexible, charming. We will be happy to come back and recommend the little paradise. Merci!

Maya's house is quaint, very quiet and well equipped. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped, large shower with neat water pressure. The beds are large and comfortable. The house sits on the edge of a mountain village and - which is pleasant especially in nice weather - a lot of sunlight throughout the day! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Petra's place is wonderful! Better than the pictures. The decor is beautiful and cozy. The apartment is spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. Definitely one of the best Airbnb I've ever booked in.

My husband and I were super happy with the place. Great location with views of the great mountains. Breakfast on the terrace with mountain views. Starting point for great hikes. Nice uncomplicated hosts. And the apartment is great. We would definitely go back.
