Barn vacation rentals in Gironde

Lovely classic French gite. Communication was very good and we were met upon arrival. Kitchen was very well equipped. We went swimming in the river at Bonnes (about 3km away) which was glorious!! Local towns of Aubeterre and Riberac were lovely to visit with shops/banks/etc. Would rebook.

Peaceful, quiet out of the way, rural. Kitchen well equipped. Nice bottle of wine and welcome note. Lying in bed lovely to see the sky, only saw the stars one night! Great being able to put the wood burner on because we had one cold night. Place is bigger than the photos betray. Good for a family, lots of bathrooms. Would recommend to others. Thanks.

Gîte impeccable rien à redire, belle architecture chaleureuse et situation paisible tout en étant très central pour rayonner dans la région. Un sans faute pour Yves accueillant et discret. Je recommande vivement et y reviendrai avec plaisir.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 2 nuits en famille. Michèle est une hôte très accueillante, disponible et arrangeante. La maison est chaleureuse et l’environnement paisible, exactement ce que recherchions. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Amazing accommodation, with a stunning view and large pool. The gite was very well equipped and spacious. Jeremie was fantastic when we arrived and throughout with local recommendations and general helpful. Would definitely recommend here and would love to come back.

Charmant logement spacieux décoré avec goût dans la campagne saintongeaise. Le gîte est tout à fait adapté à des enfants en bas âge (lit bébé, table à langer, chaise haute etc) et très fonctionnel pour des adultes. Très bien placé pour découvrir l'estuaire de la Gironde, à recommander !

Our stay was great! Derk and his wife were very attentive and warm hosts, who welcome us and explained all about the region. The house corresponds to the pictures: it is beautiful, comfortable and cozy, has all the needed appliances for a pleasant stay in the countryside. Bathroom and shower are really good quality, living room extremely comfortable with a nice woodfire and the TV is actually larger than you can tell from the pictures. The garden is the highlight of the house, with a stunning view and a relaxing outside area for meals. The villages in the region are nice, with little shops, restaurants and sight seeing. Great recommendation for relaxing vacations! We would definitely like to stay in the Gite again in the future :) (and we love Ramsi, the golden retriever). Thank you Derk and family, we had a great time!

Très beau logement fonctionnel et agréable avec beaucoup de cachet. Restaurant et autres accessibles à pied. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end et les ados ont adoré le baby-foot!

Notre séjour s’est magnifiquement bien passé. Julie a été, du début à la fin à l’écoute, très réactive et avenante, proposant d’ajouter certains équipements pour les enfants qui nous accompagnaient. Concernant le logement il était exceptionnel. Très grands volumes, et espace nuit paisible et bien isolé : nous n’avons jamais été dérangés par les (quelques) pleurs des enfants situés dans les chambres à côté. Très bien équipé nous avons apprécié y séjourner pendant 1 semaine, nous n’avons manqué de rien : piscine et jacuzzi au top 👌 Merci encore à Julie. Réservez les yeux fermés.

Logement super agréable, paisible , au calme et surtout reculé de tout ! Les deux maisons du gîte sont très bien entretenu , avec les équipements nécessaires ! Dawn nous a accueilli comme il se doit avec une approche très respectueuse et amical ! Les extérieurs sont propres et il y a beaucoup d'espaces pour pouvoir jouer avec les enfants comme avec les adultes ( Espace ping pong , baby foot , badminton, pétanque, balançoire ) Je recommande ce logement en famille !

We had the privilege of spending a beautiful autumn week here at Maison Guillaume Blanc. Our wonderful hosts, Tim and Sarah made our stay truly special. The Goat House was a cosy retreat where we could relax and unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the charming surroundings at our own pace. Leila and Craig are the nicest hosts I have met. They respond fast and are there for you to gave a good time. We also did a wine tasting which was amazing. They are so passionate and take the time to give you a great experience. The airbnb was a lovely little Gite with enough space for two. Everything is nice and clean and from the gite you have a nice view over the france hills. It is even possible to enjoy the view from the hot tub. To conclude, we had a lovely time and recommend the Gite from Leila and Craig!

La rénovation de cette ancienne ferme a été faite avec énormément de gout. La maison est parfaite pour un rassemblement comme le nôtre (cousinade) avec ses nombreuses chambres et ses couchages, et bénéficie d'un superbe extérieur. Les enfants ont adoré le dortoir! Le fait que chaque chambre bénéficie d'une salle de bain est trèsappréciable, surtout dans notre configuration, avec autant de familles. La cuisine est extrêmement bien équipée. Van a été très attentive et très chaleureuse durant notre séjour et la personne qui nous a accueillis sur place aux petits soins. Merci à elles 2, grâce à elles notre cousinade a été une grande réussite! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir, cette fois-ci plus longuement et aux beaux jours afin de profiter de la piscine!

Une hôte merveilleuse, disponible et très gentille. La maison était très propre, très bien équipée, très cocooning. Le grand lit était très confortable. Le jardin est très agréable avec des coins d’ombres et bien fleuri. L’équipement extérieur est parfait, avec tables, transats, barbecue. L’environnement est très calme et très joli. Super séjour chez Daniel ! La propriété est magnifique, très belle maison bien décorée avec de grandes chambres qui ont chacune leur salle de douche, grande piscine, chouette salle de jeux (petits et grands s’y sont bien amusés !), tout ça entouré d’un très beau verger. Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille de 4 à 78 ans !

Incroyable airbnb, encore mieux en vrai qu'en photo ! La déco est folle et avec un jacuzzi en bonus, que demander de plus ? Superbe, je recommande absolument :)

Nous avons passé une super semaine chez Nathalie! Maison tout confort, très bien équipé et très bien situé. Les plages ainsi que les restaurants et grand supermarché ne sont pas loin (10 minutes en voiture). Nathalie est une hôtesse très attentionné avec communication facile. WOW!! Just returned from a week at James & Eileen’s villa in Bourg to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary . There were 14 of us- 9 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children. All info provided prior to arrival by the hosts and the house mgt team (James, Lisa and Joe) was 5*! The check in/out & on hand support during our stay was absolutely flawless . This villa is stunning - more impressive than the photos! Bourg is a beautiful rural village and the villa was extremely spacious - perfect for family gatherings, beautifully decorated and felt sumptuous. Ambiance laid on for ourarrival& amenities for guests are unlike other private villas on offer for a party of our size .Felt immediately like a home from home.Pool was immaculate, all bedrooms beautifully furnished and living/lounge/cooking areas were of such a high standard. Villa in a superb location for exploring the vineyards. Recommend renting bikes to explore, enjoy BBQs at the villa, markets&citadel in Blaye. BOOK

Séjour parfait chez Cassandra ! Nous étions 2 couples, et 4 enfants de 4 et 1 an. Le logement était au delà de nos attentes : la grange magnifique, cuisine avec tous les équipements nécessaire pour la semaine, excellente literie, grand jardin avec des coins ombragés a toute heure, superbe terrasse qui reste fraiche toute la journée, des tonnes de jeux pour enfants aussi bien a l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.. les environs sont très paisibles, et mention spéciale pour la superbe plage sur la Dordogne, a l'ombre toute la journée et parfaitement adaptée pour les enfants. Allez y les yeux fermés ! Merci Cassandra pour votre accueil !

nous avons passé un moment absolument parfait, le logement est décoré avec goût, propre, spacieux et calme. Le petit plus, la table qui se transforme en billard 😊
