The place had a great charm and fit perfectly with the surroundings. Roger was extremely polite and very accommodating. We. had absolutely nothing to complain or complain about. The kids were also very excited. The immediate vicinity to the dyke has rounded it off wonderfully.

We really enjoyed our experience at this studio during the holiday season! Jan made us feel at home and provided us with everything we needed! We had a great time and would definitely come again! Thank you!

Nynke's place is an ideal setting for a peaceful get-away. It can also serve as a base for an invigorating exploration of the Nationaal Park de Alde Feanen surrounding Earnewâld. We enjoyed bicycling and kayaking around the park. It was great to have the bikes and kayaks available right by the unit. The apartment is beautifully updated, and was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. The apartment is situated right on a canal in a small, charming Friesian village with great restaurants. The waterfront location was delightful. Nynke responded in a helpful, friendly way to all our questions and needs. She and her family treated us like family. We felt right at home. We look forward to our next visit!

Check-in and arrival information came early so that everything could be planned. The apartment corresponded to the pictures, the amenities are also to be mentioned in praise. It was very clean and tidy overall and we felt right at home. A small critical feedback has been taken seriously and will certainly make the following guests more enjoyable. Very nice, bright place to stay. We were there with two toddlers and the rooms were very well furnished, so you didn't hear/wake up to each other. The apartment has everything you need for a stay. Activities are a little further away, so it's best to have a bike or car with you:-)

Great long weekend. The house is very well located for walks, bike tours and a visit to Groningen. The house is very confortabel. The kitchen has everything you need. In the afternoon we could have a drink in the little garden at the back.

We had a wonderful weekend in Andreas' two houses. Communication was excellent – Andreas was always available and very helpful. The houses are stylishly furnished and well equipped, so nothing is missing. A small note for future guests: Towels, bed linens, dish towels and toilet paper must either be brought yourself or rented/bought on site. We didn't know that from other Airbnbs, but it doesn't detract from the quality of the accommodation. For a weekend, it can be a bit cumbersome to bring everything, but for a longer stay, it's no problem. We were particularly impressed by the free rental of the canoe! Directly from the garden you can start on the water and explore the lake – a real highlight. We also loved the cozy hammock on the first floor, where you can relax, read or simply enjoy the view. Overall, a really nice place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was lovely -- very well equipped, spacious, clean, and with a beautiful patio and garden. The location is peaceful and convenient for exploring the area. Claartje was very friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. Thank you Gwen and Marieke that we were also allowed to be guests in your uniquely beautiful cottage!

There were eight of us over New Year's in the vacation home. Communication through Airbnb always went very well. On site, the parents were the contact persons. Totally nice and courteous people. The house is large and well-equipped. The rooms are very nice and cozy. There is even seasonal decor, which makes you feel right at home. There is nothing to complain about. We'd love to come back.

We had wonderful relaxing days. The view and the balcony is amazing. Super clean apartment. Everything present. Nice host. Good value for money. Definitely worth repeating.

Our stay was brief, but very nice. Communication with Heike was great. You got quick answers and also tips for the area. If we were to vacation there again, I could imagine booking the accommodation again.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. If we had any questions, they were immediately available and the location was great. Free parking was right outside the door and also a Spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes' walk away. In the immediate vicinity were also restaurants. Quick access to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. All in all a nice place and we would definitely come back! Julia and Tommy
