Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Geilo

Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

Spacious home with great living spaces. Nice master bathroom. The small bedroom was a bit cramped for 2 adults, but we were informed of this in advance. Lovely and well-equipped kitchen.

Absolutely everything was just great. Lillian responded quickly when we needed help. The cabin was so incredibly nice and decorated with everything you need. Much nicer than what the pictures show. Nature surrounds the cabin and no sounds other than nature's own….Magical!!

We had an amazing New Year's Eve celebration at Marianne's cabin. We were 3 couples who rented the cabin over two days. It was an incredibly cozy cabin with lots of opportunities for firing that made it even more cozy! Marianne was incredibly helpful and responded to messages right away. She even helped us find a newly established sauna in Krøderen that we got to rent. It was an incredible service! Thanks for this time😊🙏

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.

Beautiful and very spacious cabin, in a perfect location close to Hemsedal ski centre. Lovely and cosy place to relax in after a day of skiing. Responsive and helpful host.

I truly loved Signe's home. It's well refurbished, modern style inside a very cozy winter frame. A true romantic gateway in Europe.

Great location right with walking distance to the hill. Spacious apartment with plenty of space for 6 people. Very good standard and very pleasantly decorated😊

We had a really lovely stay. The location is amazing directly on the ski slope with beautiful views. Fred was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond. Remember snow chains - the apartment is located high ⛷️

Another great stay in Geilo. Lene is a great communicator and her apartment is the perfect place for a family trip to the slopes.

We felt very comfortable in this apartment. It is well equipped and the view over the ski slopes into the valley is unique. The location directly on the ski slope is hard to beat and the garage is perfect for storing the skis.

Great stay in a great location! The apartment had everything we needed. With a very short way to the ski slope, the kids could run a little alone in the plate lift right next door, while we adults dressed and got ready for the day. Short driving distance to the grocery store We had a great time and would love to come back!

The cabin is very cozy with great views. There are great cross-country trails up in the high mountains right behind the cabin. The porch is large and the cabin has a good layout with a spacious and nice bathroom. The only minus for us was that there were no heat sources in two of the bedrooms, which made it a bit challenging for us with children. Even though we warmed up the rooms during the day by leaving the door up, it got quite cold at night. But still we would like to rent the cabin again, so it wasn't a big issue for us 😊

Nice place. Homely. Nice location. Little snow when we were there so couldn't test out the cross country tracks.

The place was a great fit for a family of 4 who would stand a couple of days on the slopes at Norefjell. Easily accessible. Master bedroom up and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Altial what you need for a nice weekend getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at this spacious and well-equipped cabin in Turufjell. The surroundings were beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions. Highly recommended!

Don’t look any further! This place has it all: stunning views, incredible nature, total comfort, and convenient location, all wrapped up in hytte hygge. Kristin was impressively prompt and helpful, and everything was better than advertised. A steal for the price (but please don’t change the price)! We will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Raymond and Ida’s beautiful cabin in Norefjell! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short distance from the ski resort, making it incredibly convenient for skiing and snowboarding. The cabin itself is cozy, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect winter getaway atmosphere. The fireplace was a lovely touch, keeping us warm after long days on the slopes. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. We did experience a minor water issue during our stay, but Raymond and Ida were incredibly helpful in resolving it and ensuring our comfort throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a perfect ski retreat in Norefjell, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin in stunning surroundings! Great place for my friends and I enjoy a long weekend catching up, sauna, fire out in the snow. Fantastic location and a great host, highly recommend!

It's a perfect spot for cross-country skiing in the morning and chilling out in the sauna in the afternoon. We had a fantastic experience. Three days felt like a week. We will come back.
