Campfire retreat and Hot Tub under the stars!

RachelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!

The cabin was just as described. Small but plenty enough room for two adults. Very conveniently located to hiking and eating in the area. If you have kids and it was in the warmer season it would be ideal, the resort itself has loads for kids to do.

The Stonewall Cabin, near Marlinton WV

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My friends and I had an amazing time at this cabin. The hosts were amazing at helping us navigate the mountains. We spent our time relaxing in their cabin and skiing at snowshoe. It was a respectable distance from snowshoe. I felt very comfortable staying in their cabin because Hannah treated us like family!

“The Idaho” Camping cabin by the New River Gorge

JamieRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The location was super convenient as I was traveling to attend Bridge Day. The cabin looks just like the photos and it was easy to find. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful when I accidentally locked myself out of my cabin. And when I mentioned that the space heater that was provided was not working properly they replaced it for me. If you are looking for a no-frills, basic shelter and accommodations then this is it!

Amish Cabin #10 Near the New River Gorge

Sai DushyanthRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The cabins are a great place to stay while exploring the NRG national park. The Amish cabin matched the description and is very comfortable for 2-5 people. The property is very clean and clear instructions were provided during check-in and check-out. The WiFi connectivity is spotty but mobile network worked just fine. Restaurants, fast food and grocery stores are located with a mile. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful custom built A-Frame - #1 Cabin Bela

EvaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

Big Sandy hunting ski cabin

AbbyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Rodney was great! The house was just what we were looking for- private, peaceful. Beautiful. Had everything we needed for just two of us and our dog. The bed was a little stiff but that’s my only complaint. The house is definitely rustic but it’s a cabin and that’s to be expected. If you’re looking for a modern fancy place this isn’t it but it’s comfortable and homey. Obviously well loved. Unfortunately we lost power a little bit into our stay, and we ended up leaving early. This wasn’t at all Rodney’s fault. Lots of people lost power due to recent storms. We only left because there wasn’t cell service and the WiFi was down so we had no way to communicate. Our dog is quite elderly and we were worried something may happen and we wouldn’t be able to find a vet or anything. On us for not being prepared. But Rodney was very apologetic and refunded the days we didn’t use. He was great and we would be happy to stay here again! Thank you!!

Snowshoe Log Cabin- Two Fawns

BraedenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
They give very clear instructions on how to get here, because it is a bit complicated, but with their help we had no problem. The area is very pretty and the cabin has everything you could want. The only difficulty we had was were no able to make phone calls, we were able to get enough of a connection at snowshoe, but be aware you will be cutoff from almost all internet uses. Outside of that we loved using the fire pit and grill every night, and we look towards our next visit!

Cozy Log Cabin Getaway in Snowshoe, West Virginia

DaveRating, 5 stars1 month ago
One of the best airbnb's we've stayed at, and the best for the price! Extremely clean and well-stocked kitchen, and i loved the island eating area👌 the hot tub never disappointed (the floor lock for the rear door sticks a little bit but just takes a little jostling to unlock) and the fireplace was more than enough to keep the living room warm despite near freezing temps. We didn't use the game room but it was nice to see a second living area downstairs. Directions to the house were initially a little confusing but once we realized it was a block away from the main road we never got lost again. Can't wait to come back! Thank you Dennis for the generous offering!
