Vacation rentals with lake access in Gaasterland

We stayed with the family for a few nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable there. The accommodation is very well equipped, you will really find everything. In good weather there is a great garden by the house and access to the lake right next door. Numerous play equipment and water sports equipment are also available. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

If you're looking for a relaxing break right on the Ijsslemeer, gets its money's worth here. A very nice, well-kept and clean Air BnB with everything you need to feel at home and an incredibly beautiful view from the living room /dining table directly on the water. Enjoying the sunsets here on the terrace is simply premium. Thanks to the very friendly and helpful hosts! Hopefully we will be back with you very soon! :)

It was a perfect stay. The house was clean and cozy and had everything you could ever need. Also the host was more than friendly and always responded immediately. The sauna and trampoline were the cherry on top, we‘ll definitely come back!

Thanks to Arjan En Sabine, but also to Claartje. As a family, we had a nice time to feel good and relax. The opportunity to get to know the area with the bikes was great. A beautiful house in amazing surroundings, a must stay if your in Makkum. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week in this house. 6 adults and 6 teenagers had plenty of space and were very happy with 8 bathrooms. Large well-equipped kitchen. Anna was a skilled and pleasant hostess. Responded quickly to questions and gave us great tips and information. We went to the large bathing beach in Lemmer 20 minutes away. Had a great dinner at Pavillion t’Mar on the nearest beach. Rented bikes and explored the surroundings, rented boat on the canals. A full day in Amsterdam was mandatory. Fitness trips on roller skis and in sneakers went well from Rijs. Really happy with your stay and would love to come back! Randi

Stayed for two months Felt like a home It has everything you can think of and more It looks like the location is nowhere but when you get you see it's really close to transport and really close to leeuwarden (which is a big city) Do know that the church bell is going every half hour (including at night) So get some ear plugs But other than that it is a perfect place

This is a beautiful house right on the water in a marina. The furnishings are tasteful and the kitchen well-equipped. We enjoyed the quiet location slightly outside of Stavoren.

Great place as advertised. Easy check in and out, directions were clear also on how to get there. There is a grocery store ~7 minutes away and Giethorn is just around the corner. Many outdoors activities to do and choices of restaurants. The apartment and view from the lounge is beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing. The only issue we had was with the door. The instructions weren’t very clear. What’s missing is, after turning the handle to the right, about 95-100 degrees, you then pull the door, via the handle, towards you so that there is about a 5cm ish gap, and then slide the door open.

Great placeto go in Summer. it is located in a beautiful village in Netherlands. Property is Big enough for even 4 adults. Supermarket is around 5 kms.

Super well maintained accommodation, unbeatable views and direct walking access to the city, many restaurants and the beach. Here you can totally relax, especially in winter. We would come back back.

Wonderful place, very clean and friendly host

We very much enjoyed staying at Maarten's and Ilse's house. Everything was perfect for our family of four (2 small kids). The entire house was super clean and very well organized. Probably the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen at an Airbnb. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood on the countryside. The view over the lake is beautiful. Check-in was easy. Communication with Maarten via the Airbnb app was quick, friendly and helpful. All in all our stay at Maarten's & Ilse's place was very relaxing and was just as we had imagined it, or even better. Highly recommended, we love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It is beautifully located, has a wonderful view, is nice and cosy and had everything we needed. It is within easy walking distance from a beautiful nature reserve from where in summer you can take the boat to Giethoorn or Blokzijl . Trudy gave us lots of tips and is the perfect host.

Richard's cottage is beautiful and quite cozy. It is beautifully situated on a large garden overlooking a canal and meadow fields. The cottage has everything you would want. Usually something is missing, but we found everything we needed in Richard's cottage. Richard received us very kindly and we always had nice chats together with the children. We had a lovely time and we definitely recommend the cottage and Richard!

It’s a nice peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Our kid enjoyed both indoor and outdoor park. Definitely a place to come back again!

Robbert has created a lovely spot. Very tastefully decorated, fine lighting and beautiful materials used. Especially the fireplace stove inside and outside gives it that extra. Wake up with a view of the water.

Lovely house set in the woods

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location right on the water was particularly nice, which is why we also took the opportunity to rent a boat.

An absolute dream place to relax! The house is lovingly furnished and offers perfect comfort with sauna and whirlpool. The location close to national parks and sea is ideal for excursions. Tineke and her family were super hospitable – the welcome gift and fresh rolls were a wonderful gesture. We felt at home and will definitely be back!
